None, unless you count MMOs.

I only really levelled to be able to stand up to some of the challenges. Barely. I did the absolute minimum level grinding to do them.

Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Technically since im playing the role of a soldier and it does in fact have number systems involved i shall say call of duty black ops Level 50 15 Prestige. Everything else is just tedious.

Fallout 3 . . not New Vegas yet surprisingly enough.
ME1, ME2
Dragon Age 2, maybe Dragon Age 1.

Final Fantasy VIII, and only with Squall.

Yeah, I don't have a very big attention span. Although I borrowed Oblivion once, and I own Fallout New Vegas, I do not play it often. Also planning on getting Skyrim, I think I will spend much more time on that game than Oblivion or Fallout.

Final Fantasy VIII, the only reason I hit level 99 with Squall was because of all the grinding I did to face Ultimecia and finally beat the game after 10 years of on and off playing.

Final Fantasy VIII will always have the #1 place in my heart.

I have reach the max level (to the MAX!) in only a few RPG's, usually I beat the game or just stop playing before I get there. Does getting a pokemon to max level count?

Fallout 3
Borderlands?
Oblivion
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Pokemon?

Kingdom Hearts I and II, Borderlands, and Fallout 3.

Kingdom Hearts was a grind fest, but it was very much worth it.

Borderlands, only for the trophies. (Before the DLC)

I actually can't think of any except maybe FF7. Even then I'm not sure. I was possibly in the 90s to make Ruby more managable. Odd seeing as I have finished 110 RPGs in my life. I notice most games it isn't really necessary.

I did however set out to max all characters on FF13 for the achievements. I kind of got sick of grinding though so it is an ongoing project. Not sure if I will though. I loved the main story of the game, but sadly it seems all the post game content is just a huge grind.

Welll...

Final Fantasy VIII.

I leveled up EVERYTHING: All my party members, summons, I acquired every card for Triple Triad, I did every sidequest, I got every item; anything you can think of, I did it. What can I say? it was my first FF game ever and I was really into it.

Other than that, I can't think of anything else. I suppose Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 and CoM (GBA) count too, since everyone's mentioning that too and they're half RPGs.
Really, it's not like I haven't tried. I tried leveling up to the max with FFIX but I got impatient and I just finished the game at around lv. 65. Then I tried with FFXII but there-are-just-so-many-freakin'-sidequests! So I just finished the game too.

I'm currently aiming to level up my Dragon Age: origins party to the max. I'm halfway there...

Mass Effect 2
Pokemon
Fallout 3

Okay, there's probably more than that, which I can't be arsed to think of, but honestly I really never need to be that close to the max level to complete RPG's and the grind ususally gets fucking ridiculous towards the end, especially if the game runs out of sidequests when you're only 2/3's of the way there.

I'm not sure I've ever fairly raised every character to max in a game. there is usually very little point, as every end game boss ever has never been the strongest monster fought, and its not like there is anything awaiting you at the top. i guess its just a min/max thing that seemed appealing but usually isn't worth the effort. that and I'm not big on grinding, so running around fighting monsters forever just to say i did it just doesn't seem like time well spent.

i guess the only type of game that rewards max level is mmos.

Um...None
I hit level 19 in fallout 3 then installed Broken steel and never reached level 30
Unless you count the 2 Dead risings, I've never hit max level in anything
Not even in WoW

Best I can do is max level for 3 characters in FF4(cecil, kain and edge) and all the characters in FF8

Does the hero level up system in Warcraft 3 apply?, because I maxed out Arthas in both the human & undead campaigns.
