Lucky bastard. It's not out for almost two weeks here! I've heard nothing but good things about it though. A lot of people are actually calling it the best Bond movie ever. I think that's a pretty hard claim to make but we'll see.

Oh, come on! There aren't that many spoilers here... granted, one guy's posted the spoiler, but at least they're spoiler'd! =P

I saw it yesterday...and Holy Hell was it good.
Right?! Riiiiiiiiiight?! What was brilliant about it was that it did well in combining facets of all the previous bonds... only, just the good ones!

I've only ever seen Casino Royale and Die Another Day.

I'm going to see it on Wednesday ^_^
Enjoy! No, I'm telling you, you will enjoy! Still, any Bond film is better than Die Another Day...(!!) ¬_¬

See, I'm not sure... (primarily because I can't remember much of a lot of the previous movies, though I've seen all of them). It's definitely the best one from the last twenty-odd years, that's for sure.

...

If that counts in any way... -_-

Saw it about an hour ago, thought it was brilliant. The one-liners were pretty damn good and I thought the plot was brilliant as well. Miles better than Quantum of Solace (admittedly, not hard) and better than Casino Royale as well.

I went in with a low expectation after that god awful bond film that was Quantum of Solace. However I was pleasantly surprised, compelling plot, excellent acting and the final sequence was all kinds of awesome. I was a little bit disappointed at the 12A rating on the grounds that in made some of the brutal deaths either not brutal at all or off screen. I also found the non-Moneypenny Bond girl to be kind of pointless, but ah well. Overall it was pleasant to see an Bond villain that felt like a Bond villain, the fantastic one liners and the overall return to form.

Wow... seriously, wow.

I mean I got a lot of flak from my mates for calling Daniel Craig the worst Bond ever and Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace not even Bond films. But I have to say I am really glad to say, he's really good and it was clearly just the movies letting him down. The only criticism I could say is that the introduction of the baddy felt a bit disjointed, though it ultimately worked really well. It had all the things that have been missing from Bond films; decent chase sequences (running ones don't count), Britain, iconic bad guy, imposing bad guy lair, banter, a DB5 and most importantly FUN.

If you haven't seen it, DO.

Oh, and I know new Q kind of sucks but he has a Scrabble mug so I guess I can forgive him, even if he's awfully dismissive of exploding pens.
