I Love Smash Bros. My ex roommates and I would play it every day. It was always a big thing back in college.
Even to this day some of my friends won't play against me. bc they know I'll destroy them.
Sadly I won't be buying a Wii U for a while.
But when I do get it; I personally would love to have all the characters return (even the ones removed from Brawl)
Dr. Robotnik needs to be in there. MegaMan might be fun.
I'm not sure who else I'd want to see in the new Smash...
But the tripping has got to go.

remove tripping, or make it optional and off by default if people actually think its a good mechanic (for some random reason)
Definitely fix clones, there should be 0 clones in this game, which probably means there can only be 1 link but thats fine with me because i never cared for toon link. Definitely want to see Ganon make it in this game but with a completely remade moveset (the sword he took in twilight princess would be awesome, or some dark magic hand blasts, or both!)
someone mentioned the removal of jigglypuff, that will never happen, jigglypuff has been in every smash game and already has a well established move-set, plus its hilarious.
Pokemon trainer can stay, but bring new pokemon. As much as I miss mewtwo they should stick with the pikachu/jigglypuff/new gen bipedal badass pokemon trio
as some people have mentioned Marth will probably continue to be the face of fire emblem, so I think he should get a more rugged counterpart, Ike was pretty decent and should be treated as the baseline, a heavy bruiser type.
The mario and co roster is big enough as is, nobody should get cut but nothing else should be added.
I don't think Sonic will make a comeback but it wouldnt bother me if he did, but should suck less (and if we go in that direction, I'd like shadow as his COUNTERPART, not clone!)
From Starfox, Crystal would be ok...i guess. But I think they should add or remove one to either make it a duo or a full team of four. Considering Falco has been in 2 games, he could probably stick around provided he loses his clone status fully, otherwise keep wolf and remove falco.
Definitely keep the Zero Suit Mechanic, she was a character of her own without "increasing" the roster.
Ness is enough to represent a relatively small and less known series like earthbound, so Lucas can go.

As long as they add rather than substitute/remove/replace.
As for mechanics, I'd like it to feel like a hybrid between Melee and Brawl.
The removal of tripping would be sublime, having a soundtrack that doesn't fit the main theme absolutely everywhere would also be a plus.

Amen, it would be nice to break from the standard array of zelda characters. Getting the moon to crash land would never get old either, it would a giant "guess what's happening? SCREW YOU" to your friends.Palademon said:

But really, I just want the game to not have that stupid trip mechanic, because when I screw up and lose a game from my own faults, its funny and/or deserved, but if I lose a game because of a mechanic that screws me up a pivotal time, its frustrating.

Yeah, I think I prefer the Wind Waker art style by a long way, just because I love the bright and colourful aesthetic for my Zelda. I despise Phantom Hourglass, I was kind of expecting something a bit like Minish Cap, which is easily my favourite zelda game and one of my favourites of all time.Exius Xavarus said:

I may give darksiders 2 a crack on it I hear it's better with the touch pad taking away the bullshitty menus that plague the PC version.

Um, the black one, the one with 32GB onboard flash memory, because you'll have to run your VC games from that and such and it just looks nicer imo. The 8GB the white model has just isn't a lot, if you're interested in zombiu i recommend that bundle cuz it comes witha pro controller too.
There's a good virtual console promo on where theres a game for 30p/30cents/30eurocent each month, Super Metroid and F Zero are on the list for it too! :3
