Hey all, I'm having a bit of an issue
I'm 18, and just moved into a house with my brother and sister, living roommate style. We are all working to fix up the house and we are soon to be repainting every room in said house.
My problem is thus.
I like to stay up late playing games and talking to people, but my sister goes to sleep way too early and demands that I keep it down, making me unable to use my mic late at night. she sleeps in the room next to mine and I literally can't make any sound whatsoever, apparently she can hear me talking at a low level.
Is there a low-budget and easy way to soundproof my room before I get to painting it? does anyone have any experience with soundproofing or was in a situation similar to mine? Ignoring the privacy invasion, I would like to LAN, die and ragequit without being hassled. I'm living off 70 euro per week, anybody able to give a gamer a hand?
