This is why I am proud to own a flip phone that is turned off 95% of the time. This mobile generation is the lowest point of human civilization. I think I need to start a new Luddite movement to smash all the smart-pones and iPads.

I actually though Dungeon Keeper was wank, but that video did just enough to remind me of rock raiders for some reason, and now I'm interested.

OT: I don't know why you people are blaming EA for this, its kinda the mobile game standard at this point so getting mad at EA feels like blaming them for doing what works. If you want to blame someone, blame the smartphone addicted generation that makes this profitable [sub][sub]god knows I do at every opportunity[/sub][/sub].

EDIT: Also I fond this funny: https://wftogame.com/eas-dungeon-keeper-mobile-has-been-released/
from you guy's perspective this must be like Jesus plugging for Satan or something.

Thought this was going to be about War for the Overworld. You know, the one that's actually being made by the guys who made Dungeon Keeper. Why would I be disappointed about some other game called Dungeon Keeper that isn't even related to the old series? Especially when there's a spiritual successor on the horizon?
Hey, WFTO dev here.

Just want to clarify that we don't actually have any of the original DK development with us (unless you count Richard Ridings). We have however been in contact with and endorsed by several members of the old team, including [a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsRRzr0eBKc"]Peter Molyneux[/a] and David Amor, who are both old friends of my dad (I come from something of a game development family, if such a thing exists :) ). You can find a few more quotes from DK devs on our [a href="http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/subterraneangames/war-for-the-overworld"]Kickstarter page[/a].

And on that note, let me know if you guys have any further questions about the game.

Edit: fixed the links
Ah okay, guess my memory was a tad off! Still looking forward to the full release. I was really liking how it was coming along when I last looked.

What I can't understand is: Why even use the old name? The typical fan of the old games will probably not like the new one and the intended audience for the new one will probably not care if it's called Dungeon Keeper or "Evil Lair of Evilness" or whatever. Does this really have a positive marketing effect?
