Metokour, Jim, whatever his moniker this quarter is, is just an old school troll(before it got corrupted into " somebody on the internet that's slightly mean or unreasonable"), the more you *****, the more you whine, the more you draw attention to yourself throwing a fit about him or anything he does is just another win in his column as far as he's concerned.
Why is "Act like an Asshole, Get treated like an Asshole" such a frowned upon thing nowadays?
Where did I say that?

There's so many more ways to treat an asshole like an asshole than being an asshole yourself. Just because you think they're spouting shit doesn't mean you spouting shit back means you're in the right or the more morally justified. It just means you're both covered in shit, only one of you is fine being covered in shit, and it's not the guy with your nameplate.
Seems like a means for Raddra to successfully cause the topic to jump the rails. This Youtuber is not relevant to the topic at hand, before you consider nobody likes him. Best to ignore this as it'll only succeed in gumming up the thread and getting it locked.

He just brought up that the guy did a series on some of the personalities and bullshit that's been going on with them for years before any of this became this week's story of the year. Care to explain how the derail is on him?

Usually in how some people like to try to do just that to distract from, if not outright in defense of, the elephant in the room.
So where's Dumbo in this case?
The entirety of the channel awesome situation. You know, the topic of the thread itself? The topic being ignored by you to instead ask about why it is not a good thing to post with the sole purpose of attacking the character of one of the messengers. That whole elephant in the thread that the thread was made to discuss?

I would have thought that was very clearly what was meant by my remarks.

------------

Back to that topic though.
So, what is the collected story thus far? I've heard there are now multiple accounts of sexual predation known and covered up, and then you had people like Olson saying they valued their position in an internet flamewar more than actually revealing what they knew about such things, suggesting they both knew of it and knew it was covered up by management, but did nothing to prevent future victims because, hey, don't want gamergate to mock them.

As for fallout of the controversy, Mike Michaud seems to be the greatest problem time and again, including being the management that was aware of and covering up things. From all I saw in the document though, Doug actually just comes as a bit of an inexperienced buffoon who didn't know how to manager and left that to mike while preferring to be more talent himself. He might skate out of this controversy just fine if he throws some fresh dirt on Michaud himself, or pushes a story about being over a barrel by the guy.

Fair enough.

Though see, here's the rub. The source he put up, he knew, KNEW, everyone was going to shit on rather then put any desire into watching the video for. And if the guys as big a shitbag as stated, fuck em (the youtuber, not Raddra). It's obviously not adding to the conversation anymore then linking to a Logan Paul video adds to a discussion of Aokigahara Forest. The replies aren't going to be about the trees.
