|For those of you who havent heard it, here it is
So I wanted to know the Escapists veiws on it both musically and gamewise, me personally. Though I like the big drums they dont really do it for me, but once it gets to the main theme from both Morrowind and Oblivion it gets the memories of those games coming back and its just awesome.

Yep.

Still not going to want to load to my save or hit new game.

Still awesome. Still going to idle for a few minutes every time I get to the title screen.

The drums just seem off putting to me, other than that it's better than most themes I know.

Say what you want about the games themselves.....but the soundtrack ALWAYS delivers

I liked the Oblivion theme better.

That would be the INTRO theme, not the menu screen theme. There's quite a huge difference of it's awesomeness. (Go ahead and watch the whole intro when you start a new game and then compare it to the dumbed down menu one)

It doesn't really have the same musical score to me. It won't be something I will instantly get nostalgic and remember if I hear it in the future.

YES. PERFECT.
Really, what else could I ask for from a Nordic TES adventure soundtrack? It looks to me like Skyrim's building up to have a theme as well suited to the people of Skyrim as Morrowind did for the Dunmer, but with Oblivion visuals and gameplay!
Yes, I wouldn't mind them making games more akin to TES 2 or 3, but a less-generic-fantasy Oblivion sounds amazing, too.

The old theme digs up a lot of good memories from Morrowind and Oblivion. And that "savage" treatment they've given it really makes me want to go explore the land of the viki...eer Nords.

Looking forward to this one. Huge world to explore, epic music. Hmm... Maybe I should start a new character in Morrowind or Oblivion... no no, bad idea.

It maybe be a bit too Pirates of the Caribbean-ish, but still, it's very good in my opinion
My thoughts exactly. It goes a bit too heavy on the choir and drums, and not enough on a full orchestrated theme. Still good, but I've heard better.

I really like it. Definitely sets the tone for a different feeling game. Looking forward to it.

It's pretty good but it can't touch morrowind's theme. Im just unsure about the amount of snowiness said to be in the game

I've always loved the music from those games. Sort of the epicness of Hans Zimmer in Gladiator or Pirates, or Howard Shore from the Lord of the Rings movies.

Always makes me feel like I'm the triumphant hero... even when I'm not.

It's set in Skyrim, home of the Nords. There will be snow.
