Question:

Will Counter-Strike 1.6 run on my Acer Aspire One Netbook?

Thinking about getting it before the sale ends today.

This sale I bought:

- Supreme Commander 2 for ?4,49.
- Terraria for ?2,49.
- GTA Classic Pack for erm, I can't remember. Under ?10 in any case.
- Hitman: Blood Money for ?2,49.
- Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West for ?1,49.
- BIT TRIP Pack for ?4.
- EVE Online for ?9,99.
- Various Sims 3 products for ?59,50 ... Don't judge me!

Not all that much, seeing as how I already got most things that interest me. And the Sims is just a golden pleasure. Already played it more than all the other new games combined.

There's plenty available for old computers.

Just caved in and bought terraria. God damnit I was doing so well not spending my money on steam, but I'm so curious about Terraria and when I saw it at 5 bucks I said "Ah, fuck it." Oh well, money well spent, now I'm going to go enjoy 20+ hours of gameplay for 5 bucks! Have fun everyone.

Fallout New Vegas (and DLC)
Beat Hazard Complete
Cryostasis
Terraria (which totally sucks, in my opinion)
Ninja Blade (shittiest console port ever, and those are kind words)
Oblivion Deluxe (shitty game as well, character creation is so ugly I can't bear to look at it, combat is clunky and unresponsive (hell, I could raise a shield faster than my character), and weapon swapping is too tedious to endure. I have so many complaints about this game, and I haven't even got out of the dungeon yet)

Torchlight, Beat Hazard & Frozen Synapse, I currently do not have a source of income so cash is fairly tight, this should change tomorrow though.

Fallout: New Vegas with DLC Total: $20.91, and Batman: AA for $7.49

I'll see what they have for sale today and maybe get a few more things.

Terraria

I haven't played it yet, but after seeing the vid review here, I couldn't resist.

I'm still a little intimidated from starting, I have no minecraft experience and a you-can-build-anything style of gameplay holds me back in an overly long planning stage.

Farcry 1 and 2
Just Cause 2 + DLC
BFBC2 Vietnam +DLC
Borderlands GOTY
Starwars Republic Commandos

All for less than $50, so I'd say it was a good deal. Almost everything I bought was just today because I had a feeling Valve was going to save the best deals for last. I wasn't disappointed. I was kind of hoping that Homefront would be around $10 as I heard the multiplayer wasn't bad, and I really wanted to see this horrible campaign I hear about. I'm a sucker for horribly cheesy communist stories.

I was also disappointed at the lack of Alice for sale. I really wanted to buy that game, but not for $50. $25 would be a definite buy from me.

Portal 2, Hitman: Blood Money, Hydrophobia and all three seasons of Sam & Max. All in all, I paid around 44 Euros, which is... well, insane. Insanely cheap, that is. ^^

A very tearful wallet. :p

Lessie here, since it began:

-Gratuitous Space Battles Nomads and Galactic Conquest DLC
-AaaaaaaAAaaaAAAAA
-Wings of Prey and it's DLC
-Lara Croft GOL Challenge DLC
-Street Fighter 4
-Worms Reloaded
-Universe Sandbox
-X-Superbox

And checking if Just Cause 2 will handle well on my machine. If so, I'll snag that.
