So there will be ZP previews on X-Play now...

Does anyone else find that incredibly strange? The general public opinion is that ZP is tens of thousands of times better than X-Play (since most things are worse than ZP and better than X-Play), and now the show will be having previews of a reviewer better than them. Isn't this kinda the same reason Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't link to other gaming webcomics?

Also, how do you do a preview for a 4-minute review that gets released the next day? I haven't seen X-Play in quite some time, but I don't see how that is gonna work out.

Well, really you just have to look at this as a step for Mr. Croshaw's career. I certainly hope The Escapist keeps him. Sadly, the truth is that someone some day will have more money to throw at him and we can't blame him for that. Everyone has ambitions. In my honest opinion, it wouldn't surprise me for the man to have his own television show some day. His humor is perfect for the gaming demographic. The escapist is awesome but, perhaps some day a bigger S.S. Sellout will come along for our favorite reviewer. I'm sure he has his contract to think about, but contracts don't last forever. The way I see it is: if G4 had Yahtzee, it would do nothing but improve their lineups. The only thing we can hang on to though, is that Yahtzee will keep his style and keep us laughing. I know I don't need to tell you this but we all know Yahtzee doesn't give a flying &%*$ what we think.

wow... that's... disapointing honestly, i'm so used to g4 getting crappier and crappier i'm shocked they did something smart, it's uncomfortable.

honestly i don't know how g4 has ended up like this, cheat x-play and attack of the show being the only game related programming on it with everything else except for ninja warrior and code monkeys being a big pile of suck failure, x-play is so irritating i'll not be watching it even with zp reveiws, i hate those two with a passion. so while it's a step in the right direction it still agrivates me, they need to bring back judgement day, i actually agreed with the way they reviewed stuff.

oh yeah, how the hell did "cheaters" wind up on a gaming channel, everytime i think about it it makes me want to kill someone. makes me think in a few years that g4 will be just another bet/mtv channel,

honestly i'm shocked at how funny code monkeys is i just don't get why they stopped making episodes of it. it's gotta cost next to nothing to make and i imagine it went over well with gamers.

I am really glad X-Play is sharing their audience like this. I would have never known about this site if I didn't watch Sessler's Soapbox yesterday. I really like X-play, always have, even when it's bad is still good. But I haven't enjoyed reveiws this much in my entire life. Fuckin' Yahtzee Kills
