So they changed youtube layout.. Again, what do you think of it?

Just when I got use to the old one and was able to use it proper. Well, it looks bad as many of the new versions do, but at somepoint I do hope I get use to this one and learn the ways to use it as I used the last one.

Instructions below!
Firefox: 1. tools 2. options 3. privacy 4. manage cookies (or something along the lines of that) 5. scroll down to YouTube 6. click "visitor_info1_live" and remove

Google chrome: 1. settings 2. options 3. under the Hood 4. content settings 5. all cookies and site data 6. scroll down to YouTube.com and delete visitor_info1_live

just tested, and it does work. not sure if its a permanent fix, but its better than this crap we got today

I cannot for the life of me imagine why they changed it so now, only one video shows up from every uploader in a looooong list. Much preferred it when every youtuber you were subscribed to had their own slot with the last 3 or 4 videos they uploaded showing up.

Click the tab on the left for the subscriber you want to look at. It brings up everything they've done in a good while.

I never have a problem with the new designs, so it's really not much of a problem for me at all.

I just wish they'd make the video responses easy to find again.

I don't use youtube that much but having went on the main page, I was a little confused.

Well, I guess I wont be watching any videos from my subscribers for a while.

I'm subscribed to about 100 different people, many of whom upload up to 6-8 videos per day.
The old layout (and the one before that, to a lesser extent) nicely sorted the videos by channel and let me x off ones I'd seen or didn't want to watch. Now, I have to scroll through 2.5 pages of Lets Plays to find the one video I actually want to watch at the moment, and quite frankly I'm not going to put up with that.
To top it all off, I cant X off the Lets Plays and other videos I don't want to watch right away, meaning if I want to watch 3 videos way down the list I have to scroll down every goddang time.
I honestly don't expect to be using Youtube for a while after this, because all this update did was make it a whole lot less simple to find my videos.

TL;DR
Google is fucking retarded and whoever thought of this needs to be shot 50 times in the dick, then fucked with a rake.
I hope some group like Anonymous runs their company into the fucking ground for this load of shit.

Personally I think it looks fine, so did the last one, and the previous favorite menu, and the playlists.. Everything looked fine always. So why do they keep changing it?! O.O

I honestly don't care about it's functionality, but dear god it's ugly.

If we're going to have it look like Google Chrome, at least let us customize it. Right now it looks atrocious, and the home page is a tad too long if who your subscribed to have been posting videos.

Hate to tell you, but its not.
You can't X videos you've already seen or don't want to watch, videos are no longer sorted by uploader, are now shown in a big 1-by-infinity row in pretty much random order, and thats just what I've seen. From what I'm reading here they also removed the recommend videos sidebar.
Its awful to the point I'm holding a one-man boycott.

And really, at the end of the day most of you won't even remember what it used to look like in a few months anyway.
It's different but the old layout was getting pretty... well... old.. it needed a change and I think this was a good way to go, I don't like how I can't hide recommendations anymore however.

well lads, it turns out that the little quick fix i posted was indeed a quick fix. it resent the cookie i removed, and now removing it wont revert the page. can someone help me out on this one? the top searches on GOOGLE are of course, how to enable the layout, and how to (god forbid) get the new layout early.
