Fairly hit and miss for me. I enjoy the darker aspects of it and how seriously it takes its audience, the voice acting has been top-notch so far, and the animation and style is great but on the other hand the teen melodrama really doesn't click with me.
And of course there's the niggling issue of how the series treats Superman and Batman. I realize its fairly tertiary, but the over-idealization of Batman and the completely out-of-character Superman really bothers me. Batman is more forgivable to me, as the inevitable result of a character becoming as popular as he has is they start puffing that character up and at times start shilling others in order to cater to his fanbase, but its still bothering me how open, calm, and loving such a normally cold, grim, under-handed and paranoid character has become. Especially when contrasted with Superman - the archetypal paragon of a super-hero, who never needed any trauma or Freudian backstory to push him to heroics and who inspired the wave of superheroes not by his powers but his virtue and compassion - who has become so cold and distant. He simply isnt acting like Superman.
TL;DR Batman is awesome, Supermans a prick, should be the other way around.
