And it has been pretty shitty so far. First off I had to go to work today & it has been a tradition of mine to take my birthday off, but thats impossible this year, so here I am. Today is payday, but my check is going to be shit because I missed a day this week due to being sick with my yearly cold I always get this time of year. To top the day off so far I just sandblasted my arm, which for those of you that don't know what that feels like, lets just say it hurts like a ***** & leave it at that. If today doesn't get just a little better I'm going to lock myself in my house all weekend & drink myself stupid. Ok mild rant out of the way....

Anyone else have a crappy birthday like that, or worse, or lets go the opposite route & talk about really awesome birthdays.

Owwww at the sandblasting.
Don't drink yourself stupid; what's the point eh?

And meh, I don't really celebrate my birthdays. I can't even remember what I did on my 18th haha. To me, it's a day just like any other. But heck, if people want to give me presents and stuff for it, that's a-ok:D.

Chin up though mate<3.

Oh yeah. On my 18th birthday I had a nice "Notification of Military Conscription" letter as a birthday present. Joy.

Wow, I take back every complaint I had...... ever. Sorry man. All I got for my 18th was a draft card, which only means I could get conscripted at any time. I hope it worked out for you though.

I was stuck in Tennessee with extended family on my 21st birthday.

It was awful.

I live in Tennessee, I feel your pain.... Everyday.
We went to Dollywood during that trip.

It was hell :(

I don't think I've had any bad birthdays although I haven't really had any "OH MY GOD SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME I'M GONNA REMEMBER THIS FOREVER" level of good birthdays either.

Yeah, my 18th birthday. I'm usually not the type to complain about a lack of presents, but when its your 18th, and all you get from your family is a "Happy Birthday", it feels like a bit of a slap in the face, especially since my parents took my younger brother shopping for his 18th :/

On top of that, the only people who came over were my dads parents, and let's just say they're not the easiest people to have a conversation with....

Mines pretty petty, I know, but it still grinds my gears when I think about it.

One of my best friends died 2 weeks before my 20th birthday. It wasn't a very good birthday even if I tried my best to enjoy myself. :/
Ah I am very sorry about that, please forgive me for bringing up bad memories.

Since I was born on Valentine's Day, gifts I get tend to be themed to the holiday. Also, add in the fact that people didn't like me in school, so I tended to be depressed on my birthdays (seeing everyone being all happy and couple-y while you're alone and everyone ignores you does that to you).

Well, my 18th I ended up going to my older brother & sis-in-law's place because nothing was going on, and nobody cared (the most effort my mother could be bothered to put in was to buy a crappy strawberry shortcake that I had to tell her yet again that I hated). Fairly certain that I heard my niece get conceived. -_-'
Also I recall me questioning my adultness since I loved sugary cereals (still do).

Can't remember my 19th, but my 20th was great, as I spent the day with Mr. Boyfriend eating Cadbury Cream Eggs and watching A Bronx Tale.

Happy birthday

I celebrated my 17th birthday just over a month ago and it was pretty normal, except I had people phoning me wishing me happy birthday, lots of cake, and cards and money.

Happy Birthday bro.

Uhm, my 16th birthday was pretty shit, cause I spend all the day before that with friends partying and that resulted in a insane hangover on the other day, my actual birthday... My original plan was to sleep it off, but I was forced to listen to the entirety of my family talking... for hours... all at the same time... for hours... ;_;

While you had one bad birthday, try having every year! Ok they're not bad as in misfortune happens on it, they are never been special, just very mudane but I would for once to have something awesome to happen on my birthday thought...
