Unfortunately, that is the mindset of like 90% of the gaming industry. I bet the only reason that witcher 2 sold so well is that there are tits on the screen for a moment. And don't get me started on dead or alive volleyball. Personally, I don't get it. Most gamers have a connection to the internet and by extension an infinity of softcore pornography, so why they think they still need to put them in is beyond me, especially since they will never compete with the internet in terms of boobs per screen or whatever. So I guess they just think we're complete morons and therefore boobs are indeed a replacement for intelligence and plot.

As an avid fan of both, sometimes you just need some light entertainment instead of constant information, a la Extra Credits. Also, I think this might belong in Off-Topic a bit more than gaming.

Im with your TS. I have always hated when people said, you have to see this movie, this chick is SO HOT IN IT. But what about the movie? Dude this chick is hot.
Well I will could go watch some porn instead. I require more substance in my media diet.
Nothing against that lil web show. Its allright and I sometimes watch it after all the other shows in any given week. But the problem extends to much more in overarching media then this. I think its a poor example of a real problem. People eating up crappy content because there are some boobs in there.
Maybe its just because Im married and can get whatever I want whenever I want.

Thanks Moose. To be honest I watched one Top 5 and I just didn't enjoy it. Extra Credits on the other hand has made me reconsider how I do my job (I'm an English teacher in Japan). So many times that show has given me discussion starters to share with my friends that have waned into sleepy ramblings. Top 5 seems to just be selling sex appeal. To be fair I've only watched it once. Top 5 had some nice nostalgia to it, while extra credits can be kinda wordy, top 5 has more going for it than just boobs, plus it has fewer episodes so people just trying out an episode or two will have a bigger impact.

Yeah, I'd say Top 5 and Extra Credits have about the same amount of brains in execution, if not in concept.

Frankly I'm more concerned that something that hasn't had any new content for a few weeks now is moving up the list.
I think people are panicking that Top 5 will be cancelled so they're just trying to make sure it sticks around.
