Sleeping and not wearing pants.

Actually, playing Shadow of Mordor and Danganronpa 2 as well as raiding in Final Fantasy XIV. I think I'm going to go buy Smash 3DS today as well. Just woke up though, so I might wait a bit on that.

Working my worthless retail job instead of going to a LAN party my friends scheduled impromptu.

Writing two papers that are due for midterms in a few days that were assigned last week.

Moping over the calculus midterm I crapped out on.

Playing Payday 2's Hotline Miami crossover heist.

But a majority is working my shit retail job and sleeping.

Today I went for my standard Saturday run, did laundry and the dishes and am now starting to read some coursework for Monday related to philosophy of science, more particularly on theories of causation.

I'll also update my agenda for all the university deadlines and all that, maybe do some extra stuff. And of course I slept in, because wahey weekend. There's also texting with the love interest.

Tomorrow will be mostly filled with a Warhammer 40k: Only War session for which I still have to finish my new character. We all died and made a new regiment and characters, and we're also having a new player though luckily she's already familiar with both 40K and roleplaying. So that's going to be awesome. Probably going to top the day off with some Magic the Gathering, as per usual.

Somewhere I want squeeze in trying out Crusader Kings 2 because that's very cheap right now and I got friends who want to include me in their multiplayer. But we'll see about that. I'd rather be playing Alien: Isolation, honestly. Man that looks fantastic.

I have a ton of laundry to do, and to clean the house, and move furniture. Now I know this sounds like a lot of fun, but no you can't join. Because I'm doing all this by myself. I mean it, back off. >.>
I actually really like doing laundry. Means going to the laundromat bar, sit down with a ginger beer and read some GoT while the machine is spinning. Then hang it up at home to dry all nice, neat and orderly. Makes my room smell like so good too, that good good detergent smell.

I'm going through a problem sheet on 'Mathematical Structures for Quantum Mechanics', and being majorly reminded that the last time I did anything with complex numbers, trigonometry or eigenvalues/eigenvectors was 2-3 years ago.
I can relate. I'm working on a crypto assignment this weekend and the TA said that we should review modular arithmetic. I blew this off because come on, you just wrap around the mod value easy as ca- sorry, what is that you're saying about the Extended Euclidean Expansion? I'm now in the process of trying to remember how exactly to go about this

OT: The aforementioned cryptography assignment is probably going to be most of this weekend. If I have time I might try to make some headway on the rollercoaster animation program I'm supposed to write in a week and a half.

Well, I was working this morning, but on my way home I picked up Super Smash Bros. so that is the majority of my weekend pretty much sorted, between playing some Smash bros. and Guacamelee I don't really have that many reasons to leave my room (eating and bathroom breaks being the obvious exceptions) until I have to drag my sorry ass to work on Monday, where I probably not be doing that much talking at breaktimes due to my playing more Smash bros.

Do the laundry because I'm a slob and it needs done after, like, a week of not doing it, work on Saturday, and listen to this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_Ua8iOR0g8] on infinite loop.

Nothing much.

Ah, Crypto! I presume you need to revise Chinese Remainder Theorem as well if you're doing modular arithmetic? Either that or you will be learning it.

I remember doing that stuff last year. Everyone came out of that lecture with no idea what just happened. Goooood times.

A combination of Smash Bros., Hyrule Warriors, putting up Halloween decorations, and maybe squeezing in some school work. A relaxing weekend overall.

I'm finishing up the Dragon Age: Origins DLC (just have Leliana's song to go) and then I'll dive into DA: Awakening. I'll put plenty of hours into Marvel Puzzle Quest cause that's what I do...and play my daily quests in Hearthstone.

Should be a nice and enjoyable weekend as a hermit (I have no plans or need to leave the house until Tuesday).

Working nightshifts.
All of my friends are working too so I won't be able to hang or chill before work.

I lead a fun, exciting, and fulfilling life you see.

Thankfully I have never heard of the Chinese Remainder Theorem, so I'm probably not expected to already know it yet. Just looked it up though and it appears to be very relevant to Cryptography though so I imagine it's somewhere in a future lecture.

By the way... Mathematical Structures for Quantum Mechanics sounds like it could be in any of three subjects. Is it a math, computer science or physics course?

This is my weekend off of work so, I spent a majority of today getting nice and acquainted with Smash Bros 4-3DS. I'm off tomorrow too and really need new pants so I'll probably take a trip to the goodwill to see if I can find anything. Before I got Smash yesterday I had got back into playing through Earthbound and I'm at the dungeon where I can apparently find the Sword of Kings so I'll probably go ahead and do a bit of grinding before the weekend is out.

I'm going to the movies with a friend and we'll end up seeing one of these three movies:

Guardians of the Galaxy
The Maze Runner
Gone Girl

I'm fine with re-watching Gaurdians in theaters, I'm indifferent to Maze Runner, and Gone Girl has been something I was originally going to see by myself, actually...

Other than that, new Doctor Who and Intruders episodes to look forward to later on today as well as my "Anime Viewing Late Night" marathons I have every Saturday...

Yeah, it's useful for applied Cryptography as it allows you to do modular exponentiation faster, and essential for theoretical Cryptography as part of the correctness of RSA is proven using it. Long story short, if you're studying Cryptography and modular arithmetic in particular, you will be learning about it.

By the way... Mathematical Structures for Quantum Mechanics sounds like it could be in any of three subjects. Is it a math, computer science or physics course?
So that is just one worksheet for a course called Quantum Information Theory. It's basically an introduction to the theoretical concepts behind Quantum Computing. And to answer your question: All of the above. It's organised by the School of Mathematics, but it can be taken by people from Maths, Physics and as of this year Computer Science as well. I'm personally doing it as part of a CS degree.

I have to switch the tires on my car to winter ones, because Canada. Other than that, studying for Psychology and being depressed. Probably take a nap. Was supposed to go bowling yesterday night at an event hosted by my college, but I felt overwhelmed by the amount of people and just walked back home once I got there. Also my douchebag room-mate jacked my shoes, so I walked the entire way in flip-flops. Then I got locked out because my key card stopped working. Fortunately, the residence assistant was around, so I didn't have to wait long to get a new card.

I spent all of last night downloading Shadow of Mordor at my 800kb/s super speed internet. It only took me 12 hours. So yeah, been playing that all day. General impressions are good0, but I heard many reviewers saying that the game played something like the Arkham games, but I would like to say that is wrong. The game plays exactly like the Arkham games, namely Origins. X is attack, B is stun (you can then attack really quickly on a stunned enemy), A is dodge/ jump over an enemy, Y is counter, LT is to throw a "light dagger" (aka, Batarang), button combo finishers that do the exact same thing and are the same two buttons. There are enemies to interrogate, fast travel points to unlock, collectibles scattered around the map etc. YOU EVEN HAVE A FUCKING CAPE. All of this is great, because I love the Arkham games, but I guess I kinda expected something a little more adventurous.

The only real complaint is that the enemy spawning system is absolute poop. If you are in a stronghold, and the alarm goes off, what they tell you is "reinforcements are coming!". What they don't tell you is that by "reinforcements" they actually mean "the entire orcish horde is about to descend on your ass! Oh and by the way they are infinitely spawning.". Also, if you wipe out a squad of orcs, then round a corner, then go back round the corner that you just turned, the orcs will have respawned. I get that it really does evoke the feeling of facing the orcish horde, but you never really feel like you are making any progress. I get that it also wants to make sure that you will always have enemies to face, but Christ, at least give me some breathing room from time to time.
