carrying on the jak series on the ps3. lets face it, with the visuals uncharted 2 has given us making jak look brilliant on ps3 would be cake walk.

Personally, I hope that Naughty Dog will take a break from the Uncharted series, and just bask in the glow of what they've accomplished. Many developers make the mistake of pouncing on their success too soon, trying to make lightning strike twice. Hammering Nathan Crake down our throats too early and too often could leave him much like his well-endowed inspiration, Lara Croft. Naughty Dog should look into some of their older IPs, like Sly Cooper, or try and create a new property.

Screw Nathan Drake, how about a Crash Bandicoot 2: The Wrath of Cortex remake? I'd buy a PS3 for it.

EDIT: Meant Cortex Strikes Back. Whatever, same thing.
Yeah that sounds neat, i'd buy that.
Speaking of buying things, you made me want to listen to Buy now, for sale, i hate you :)

Hey people, have you noticed? Naughty Dog does Trilogies! Three Games is all you get from them! I hate how so many people rag on sequels and then demand them from a company that keeps their sequelage fairly sane. All a bunch of damn hypocrites you are! Also, wasn't the Jak and Daxter story wrapped up nicely with Jak 3? Why ruin a good plot by opening it back up?

*sigh*

Still, as much as I love the adventures of Nathan Drake, I'm very interested to see what their next project will be after they finish Uncharted 3, they seem to be always doing something awesome there.

I'd be very happy if the third is just as good as this one, but to improve it, do as this one did: The same basic formula with story (won't spoil anything, but the general themes from the first one is certainly back) and gameplay (Gears of War meets Tomb raider and a lot of polishing up and refinements ensue), only on a greater scope and with better graphics (if that's even possible now). Nothing about the Uncharted formula really needs changeing.

All this talk of remakes brings to light an interesting point: Naughty Dog are smart enough to know when they have taken a series as far as they can (thereby having the publishers foist it off to some craphouse like Vivendi), and talented enough to make each of their IPs fresh and innovative.
Right you are.

The reason Naughty Dog is my favourite developer, is because with each new generation they have a new IP in wich they invest all their time and effort. The last thing I want to see is for them to be dragged down by their old franchises.
