So... What did everyone do for Halloween then?

I know it's a week late guys, but... I've been living under a metaphorical rock for the last month and a bit. That and I wanted to find out what Escapists around the globe see as "fitting" Halloween costumes.

I went for a Soulless mask (home-made) from Torchwood and zombie make-up underneath that, working on the assumption that I'd get bored of wearing my mask all evening (coincidentally, the zombie makeup was a bigger hit than the mask. Go figure.)

So, if anyone else still thinks this is relevant - what did you do and where do you live?
(oh, and I made a Minecraft pumpkin carving. Badly.)

Played InFamous Festival of blood. That's it, Halloween isn't that big a thing round my area, we didn't even get any trick-or-treaters. (More chocolate for me then)

I made a jet pack and went as generic steampunk jet pack man. No one at school knew what steam punk was, so I became the Rocketeer by lunch time as more people were familiar with it.

I dressed up as the slender man (complete with stilts to make me taller and home-made puppetry rig for longer and still functional arms and hands), stood outside on our porch, and terrified as many people as I could when they came to our door.

I... I don't really remember. I sort of woke up in this random castle. And some white zombie shit with a massive claw kept following me around. Oh, and I sawed some guys head off, and got attacked by evil jam.

Not as good as last Halloween if i'm honest.

Watched my stockpile of candy dwindle down until all that was left were some malted milk balls. Trick-or-Treaters took them all, didn't even leave one Reese's peanut butter cup. Well, that and I finally watched Season of the Witch, it is terrible.

I wore a nightshirt, big girly fuzzy slippers, put my hair in long pigtails and toted a teddy bear under one arm and a bottle of tequila in the other hand. I was a young Drew Barrymore. (I know, awful, because I actually really like her. But it's my go-to costume!)

New Zealand doesn't really celebrate Halloween, so instead I played a little Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, had a university exam during the day and studied for another one the next day.

I think that counts as a good effort, somewhat. :D

Hid in the basement while my roommates passed out the candy upstairs.

Sadly, it wasn't because of disdain for children (though I do seem to have that), but because the aforementioned roommates had a fire going in the fireplace and it seems I am allergic to something that was on the wood. Couldn't be in the same room and still breathe, literally!

Not fair. Not fair at all.

Went as Rick from Splatterhouse. Got fucked up, had a good time. Ran from a girl that was out of her mind for the second time. (two different parties, two different years, same fucked up girl)

I did absolutely nothing. I love Halloween, but I'm not five so no Trick-or-Treating and I'm a total recluse at the moment so no parties or friends to hang out with. I might be going mad from the isolation, though, so there's that. I could have a Not-Halloween mad tea party with some imaginary friends. Or maybe my slightly less imaginary internet friends.

Yeah, screw it, I'm just going to become a cat lady.

I discovered a wonderful game on the Mac App Store called Trine and played it... that's about it.
