So... What did everyone do for Halloween then?

I know it's a week late guys, but... I've been living under a metaphorical rock for the last month and a bit. That and I wanted to find out what Escapists around the globe see as "fitting" Halloween costumes.

I went for a Soulless mask (home-made) from Torchwood and zombie make-up underneath that, working on the assumption that I'd get bored of wearing my mask all evening (coincidentally, the zombie makeup was a bigger hit than the mask. Go figure.)

So, if anyone else still thinks this is relevant - what did you do, and where do you live?
(oh, and I made a Minecraft pumpkin carving. Badly.)

I worked in downtown Seattle, in an area I recently discovered is considered the 'gay community' and the things I saw... *shudder* let's just say some things, once seen, cannot be unseen. On a lighter note, one may argue that my Halloween night was a sucess because I was, in fact, horribly scarred by the frightening sights that I saw.

Oh my brothers, on that the most glorious of days I was out and about with droogs of mine. We viddied a few horrorshow sinnys, and much fun was had by all! Sadly, we were unable to get up to much of the old ultraviolence, but one does what one can.

Dressed up as a pirate. Went to a party. Got a huge red rash on my face after the party cause of an allergic reaction to the rum I had, which was a shame cause if I'd know that would happen, then I would've bought the rum a day earlier and gotten the rash before the party as it would've been a great addition to the pirate costume.

My house got power back around 7pm Halloween night. I got out of lab at about 9pm. Then I went to McDonald's where I ran into some classmates, then drove 20 minutes to the hotel were my stuff was (also my brother), brought that back, and went to sleep.

I worked cashier at a Target.

But otherwise I would have adopted my usual "Fuck Halloween" stance, as I do with most thematic holidays.

I watched Monday Night Football and gave out candy.

Exciting? Not in the least bit. That's the norm when you're a 21 year old in a town where people tend to leave when they're 18 and never look back.

I was supposed to go my ex's party. I dressed up as a Crust Punk scene girl. Made a skirt out of carhartts, was sporting multiple studded belts, and I even shaved my legs and face.

Soon after, she cancelled the damn party. My legs feel like freshly-shaved ham. Bah.

So, I did nothing but get drunk and play Dark Souls. Good stuff.

Spent it alone in my room imagining what I could be doing had I been in possession of money at the time.

I feel sad now...

I went around killing babysitters, reenacting my first kill 15 years ago, when I stabbed my elder sister to death with a carving knife at the tender age of 6...

Nah, just kidding. I went to school, played games, and did homework. Also, sat in the dark waiting for the power to come back on.

I stole all the mars bars from our candy bowl and spent all night watching Starcraft casts.

Just like every year.

Got dragged around our neighborhood by my girlfriend, normally I wouldn't mind this, but I was tired and my brain was fried from Jury Duty.
