Frankie makes people laugh.

Katie Price has fake tits.

That's all she has to offer society, so I vote in favour of the bearded Scottish funnyman!
I'd like to voice in my own opinion, but this pretty much sums it up.

Hrm... Never heard of him before this. If I could make out over 40% of what he was saying, I think he would be hilarious.

So... no. No censorship. What I could make out wasnt even remotely offensive yet it was supposed to be some of his most offensive jokes.

I don't find anything offensive, so I find this guy very funny. But even if it is offensive, so what?

And who sir are you to decide what is and what is not funny?
That task does not belong in your or anyone else's hands, if you don't find it funny then how about you don't watch, while those that do get to enjoy the crassness of his humor.

Also not meant as an insult, but try to work of your english all those extra E's everywhere made it hard to read, if english isn't your first language or you have a learning disability just use spellcheck or something.

Although his jokes are funny, and he is one of my favourite comedians, I think that if I had a disabled child and someone blatantly made fun of it, I would be very offended as well.

I think this is a bit too far in some ways, but he is still funny.

I used a spell checker thing (my spelling skills suck) on the net and it seems to have gone hey wire, it did it to all of my words but I thought it would have been ok on the article. Clearly I was wrong.

Oh well, I provided some lolz I hope.
I am not deciding what is and isn't funny, I am saying his "jokes" aren't even put across as jokes. There just plain insults, but 'cos he is known as a comedian people laugh at them.

I know some people will find him funny but some people think people shitting on people is sexy.

I find Frankie hilarious to be honest, he takes the piss out of everyone, it's not like he selects one group and bashes them. If you're going to be offended don't watch it, it's Frankie Boyle, you should expect anything, and if you're 'famous' don't think you will be excluded.
I think there is a difference, Jimmy takes the piss out of them, Frankie just plain insults them. It is like that "comedy" roast thing.

Like one of Jimmy's jokes is, "there is a sign out side of a special needs school, it says "slow children" I thought that can't be good for there self esteem ... but on the bright side they can't read it", I think it's funny 'cos it's all word play and while it is offensive it isn't like laughing at the holocaust.

Wereas when I watch Frankie I feel like he is just saying "HA, your not normal and I will make you feel awful about it".
It's how he does it, he exaggerates and compares to things that could never possibly be that bad. I find Jimmy funny as well but sometimes you need someone to break the boundaries because some people are offended too easily these days.
I'm not really surprised by this but I think Ol' Frank may start having a few problems with this soon. I remember seeing him Live and he said all the same kind of stuff and no one was laughing, so he just started insulting the audience. It was kind of pathetic, and every time I hear about him insulting someone or something, that's what I think. It's kind of pathetic.

i like steve hughes, ive seen him live :)

OT: i dont believe in censorship in anyways, shape or form yeah it might offend people but how a person expresses themselves is down to the actual person the the people around him, yeah sure the joke was a bit OTT but in all fairness this is katie price we are talking about, a person who is only famous...for being famous really and these sorts of people will get next to no respect from me,frankie boyle aims the joke gun at every one. she just needs to learn how to take it.

Edit: he used the bit about the boybands when i saw him lol.

He makes jokes. It's what he does. I read the article, and the mother said the sort of things he was saying were just "playground jokes." Well, if they're really that minor, then what is the problem? She also said herself she was expecting disabilities to be made fun of.

Personally making fun of disabilities isn't my style, but if that guy wants to go there, then by all means let him. It's not his fault she decided to bring her daughter.

EDIT: I guess I should note, I read another article in which the mother was a woman named Sharon Smith. The one I read is located right here. [http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2010/apr/08/frankie-boyle-downs-syndrome]

Sorry I didn't see the spell check comment, nevertheless you are in fact trying to decide what is funny, there you flat out said that he isn't.
You simply cannot say what are or are not "jokes" as you said some people find excrement to be arousing do you have the autouroty to tell them they are wrong?
Even if you did it wouldn't change their feelings on it, if you don't find shit sexy don't go to speciality porn sites.
If you don't find franky Boyle funny, all you have to do is not watch him.
And as I said people will find different things funny eg any mention of "Duhram Pine" causes my freind and myself to giggle due to a you-had-to-be-there joke made nine years ago.
Nobody else would find this funny and we don't expect them to, we do however, and no matter how many people say "but it's just the name of a buisness" are going to change our minds.

I say you should accept that some people have different tastes in humor, and let it go.

I love how on Channel 4 it says viewers will be offended before Tramadol Nights starts.

Though to be honest, I thought the new show was pretty bad.
It's true. I was offended by how shit it was.

The only real laugh i got from the whole thing was when frankie said "TV, man, how low is it gonna sink?" The irony in what had just oozed out of his mouth was just too rich.

I don't "get" Boyle any more. Now he's been let off his leash by leaving Mock the Week there's nothing stopping him from producing stuff that, for lack of a better word, is shit. Tramadol Nights had one or two good concepts for comedy sketches but ultimately they all fell the Frankie's slow delivery or replacing a proper punchline with "fuck yeah".

Tramadol Nights is attempting to be offensive for offensiveness' sake. It doesn't succeed, it just looks pitiful.

The first episode of Tramadol Nights had a mixture of good sketches (the Knight Rider parody) mixed with mediocre and offensive standup.

The second episode had a mixture of mediocre and offensive sketches mixed with mediocre and offensive standup.

Frankie Boyle may have been good on Mock the Week but it has survived without him and removing the watchful eye of the BBC has just made him offensive rather than funnier.

He's rubbish now.

At least he used to have some decent material (oh yeah he never wrote it) and I like dark humour as much as the next person but he's trying too hard now.

As popular as he is, it's maybe a bit too far when insulting a disabled child.
No it's not. He's always been insulting. Insulting a disabled child is just the same as anything else he used to say.

I still think the only time he's funny was on Mock the Week.

Anyway, why can't Tits McGee just not listen to him? It's easy enough.

Steve Hughes wins the argument. I can understand why Jordan would be upset, this is after all a deeply personal issue for her but making a legal issue out of this is taking it too far.

To be honest, I find Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr and Dara O'briain the only consistently funny comedians.
I say that, but even I thought Boyle's comments about Harvey were a step too far. I though Tramadol Nights was funny, but not THAT funny (I've seen the stand up from which the material was taken anyway). The sketches were the funniest parts (Knight Rider).

But yeah...I think Price is well within her rights to complain about this (I don't even LIKE Katie Price!)...in comedy I don't think anything should be taboo, because then we're controlled in all aspects of life, and your sense of humour is something that no one can control. But he personally attacked a kid who can't defend himself, and can't help the way he is.

I understand there are some people who won't think of this situation badly, and that Boyle's done nothing wrong, but if I was Katie, I'd be devastated that someone thought it ok to personally attack my son, who I would dearly love.

Ok, I don't know who Frank Boyle is but i am still going to put my two cents in. I have ADHD and i am missing the filter on my mouth (or at least it is mostly non-functioning) so i have this tendency to say stupid things and i don't care. The only kind of censorship i believe in is personal censorship. Being an ass can be funny, being offensive CAN be funny, but even so if that is all you can do it quits being funny really fast.
