With the Steam summer sale I'm sure many of us have many new games to play to get us through to the holidays. So tell me what games have you been playing?

For me, I picked up Dark Messiah Might and Magic since I'm incredibly excited for Dishonored and wanted to see what the combat might feel like in it. I also grabbed Mount & Blade: Warband, I'm enjoying the single player even though it can be a bit confusing at times. I've started up achievement runs on both Max Payne 3 and The Witcher 2 as I try to beat them on the hardest difficulties.
As for multiplayer games, I'm playing the hell out of Dota 2 and doing pretty well which is surprising since I've never really played Moba games before. Its well balanced and the co-op bot mode is excellent for beginners looking to learn the game plus the co,,unity is surprisingly respectful to everyone.

At the moment I'm playing through Divine Divinity and Saint's Row the Third.

Both pretty fun.

Divine Divinity is AWESOME. (you gotta put about two hours into it before you start adjusting to it though. Like a lot of old games.) if you like Diablo, Baldur's Gate, or Neverwinter nights, you'll probably like it.

Saint's Row is pretty fun. Sort of like a hyper-stylized ridiculous GTAIV. pretty fun. Physics are so bad...SO BAD, lol. there is no gravity or momentum in this game: those two things might as well not exist. and..well..it's insane. no logic to anything, but it's kind of cool.

EDIT:
I liked Dark Messiah Might and Magic. I enjoyed it very much, but I wish it was longer :( feels...linear and incomplete? I mean the plot 'sort of' wraps up, but I was left wanting More.

I'm gonna give Walking Dead a few hours later on tonight. I played it for about one hour last night, and I'm impressed with how much I'm enjoying it. Telltale did a great job here.

Also, I bought Skyrim when it went on sale earlier. First game I purchased through the steam app on my phone. Thank you valve for making it so convenient to waste my money! I'm looking forward to gathering some mods. (Anyone got any recommendations?)

I got Killing Floor as a gift to some friends, so I'm also going to be playing that with them later on.

And Frozen Synapse RED DLC. I'm curious how the coop works for this.

I am still playing Diablo 3... Before you asked, since I'm going to this anime expo this Saturday I can't really afford to buy another game (well I still can but I'm not going to be reckless with my earnings) and the next game I will be playing next is Guild Wars 2 which is a month away. I am barely hanging in there on Diablo 3 and I ain't even in Inferno mode yet! (I doubt I reach that mode in time before GW2 is release).

Mount & Blade: Warband.
Stronghold.

I was talking to a friend earlier about some games I haven't played for awhile and might start later, Alpha Protocol, Prototype and Saboteur.

Right now I'm working on White Knight Chronicles. I actually finished it a few years back, but I got WKC2 which includes the original game. I'm going through it again just to refresh myself on the story and mechanics before I delve into the sequel. It seems to me though that it is more of a 2 part game than a sequel sort of like Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2.

This game got some harsh reviews, but I'm still enjoying it for the most part. Wouldn't say it is as good as most other Level 5 offerings but it is worth a play in my opinion.

I'm also in the process of getting all the achievements on Skyrim. I have all the ones from the original game and 3 left from Dawnguard. The last three seem kind of time consuming so it is on hiatus for the time being.

That is a great game. It is probably my favorite JRPG on PS2. I spent about 111 hours playing it. I highly recommend doing the sidequests after the first completion of the game. I don't want to spoil anything but I will say it is extremely worthwhile to do so.

I just beat Fallout 3 for the first time (and by beat, I mean I have no more quests in my log, I'm sure there are still quite a few encounters left to be found) after finally getting it in June.

Now, I'm starting Red Alert 3 and From Dust. I was going to play Killing Floor but it keeps crashing on start-up and I can't be arsed to fix it right away as I have enough other stuff to play.

I've been wanting to play the original again for a while and have no idea where my copy vanished, so picked it up in the sale.

Thanks to the Steam sale, once again I have a backlog.

Currently playing "Dead Rising 2: Off The Record" which I picked up during the 75%-off flash sale for like $10.

I'll probably play the Crysis games next, since I've wanted to give them a try for a while now and picked up their bundle for like $15 when it was on sale.

I'm currently spending a lot of time playing Oil Rush. I got it off the 2nd, I think, Indie Bundle and the primary reason I bought that bundle. It's a lot of fun, a node-based RTS, like Eufloria, only with water and more features.

Only complaints I have is that there aren't a lot of people playing the multiplayer(practically no one), even if that's where the most fun is to be had.

Next game up will probably be Spec Ops: The Line, since I've heard a lot of praise for it.

For Skyrim the Nexus [http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/] is the best place to get mods (besides steam workshop). Download the Nexus mod manager first, it makes adding in mods so much easier. I really only use mods for adding in new weapons, armor, and spells. I would recommend The Sounds of Skyrim mods, immersive armor, Jaysus swords, Midas magic, and then some that make the game look prettier if your computer can handle it.

Ahh... *Looks at stack of games of yet-to-be-finished games*

I think I'll just go with Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention, ST:KOTOR, and Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

I've just started playing Final Fantasy 8 for the first time.

I'm currently in the middle of a personal goal to play every single mainline Final Fantasy game that I haven't yet beaten (except for 11, 12, and 14, due to two of them being MMORPGs, and the other one being unavailable to play since I don't have a PS2).

League of Legends... Oh so much League of Legends. No idea why I find the game so fun and addicting.

Still not touching Ranked with a ten foot pole though, fuck that place is unpleasant as shit.

Ezreal is free this week finally, time to no-scope those nooblords with a cross-map Trueshot Barrage!

I find the most fun just learning new characters. Every new character you try makes the game feel fresh again. Though I swear you miss your W,Q combo as Ez and you've just fucked yourself over... Unless you didn't start the fight with your teleport that is. You can go through an entire teamfight failing at hitting people DX

Or you could go AD Carry Ez and just autoattack bitches to death. But where's the fun in that?

Ok, i'll level with you. Irelia is fucking hilarious. Both the gold per five items > Merc Treads > Triforce > Force of Nature = unkillable Irelia who can destroy your face and run really fast.

As for the other 3 items? Just pick and choose pieces from the Armour and Magic Resist portion of the shop! Preferably start with Thornmail to get rid of that pesky AD Carry quickly.

Maybe i'll try that build with Riven. I feel she needs more AD items before she can focus solely on being an offtanky unkillable badass though. Not sure what she's meant to be, delicate flower who can own your face but can die easily? A badass Offtank who buys one good offensive item then spams health?

Honestly I have no idea.

Oh the Evelynn patch that may make her viable again is coming up at some point... GET HYPE! Then Zyra comes out... GET MORE HYPE!
