"Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" - My 360's fan.

It's quite a tune, isn't it? XD
But I'll probably stick in my terrible headphones in a minute and listen to In Flames, probably.

At the moment, Windows Media Player is set to play everything I've got randomly. This came up.

Weird title aside, it makes for very good creepy music.

I'm not posting the vidoes here because I can't be bothered. However, here's a link to the We7 page I'm currently on.

http://www.we7.com/#/album/Esben-and-the-Witch/Violet-Cries

Basically, I'm listening to the entire debut album of Esben and the Witch, a band who I've just now got into severely after hearing about them in NME Magazine, and after seeing posters for them everywhere in my city recently, particularly for an event I want to attend at the end of April called Live At Leeds - a four day music weekend where the best live music venues in the city all play host to a multitude of music artists of various genres (mostly indie and alternative, my style). Esben and the Witch happen to be included, and I will certainly try and see them if possible.

Basically, think of them as a British version of Warpaint, with a very similar style (gothic/indie rock) and a female vocalist who sounds a hell of a lot like Warpaint's vocalist. And if you don't know who Warpaint are, nor Esben and the Witch, then you may as well kill yourself now, because you're missing out. Truly, you are missing out on something amazing.

Is this from an anime at all, by any chance?

This guy does this as a very nice series, you can definitely find a lot of neat songs from the videos.

Surprisingly enough, no, though 90% of those unfamiliar with the series assume so. Understandable, really.

It's from Touhou, a rather viral Japanese series of fighting/shmup games (from the original maker of the series) and everything (fan works). The latter includes remixes - three themes in one, followed by remixing, in this case.

The games are quite good and the music is frequently amazing, if you can get past some of the impossibly creepy parts of the fanbase. Here, I'll include a gameplay video. Should give you some idea of the music/playstyle for the shmups. The fighting games, while excellent, are another matter.

And, uh, you may want to avoid the "is it anime?" question. A good deal of the fans seem to go berserk over that. No idea why, it's an easy mistake to make.

Taking a break from my usual list for some old ass music.

"Little Fugue" in G Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach
I fucking love fugues. Dunno why. I'm not much of a fan of baroque music otherwise.

That's some crazy notework to keep track of.
