I've said it before, so I'll say it again.

Mass Effect: Origins

Where you play a newly recruited Spectre.
You can choose between human, Asari, Turian, Salarian, and Quarian for your race. If you are human, Turian, or Quarian you can choose your gender (since Salarian females never leave their world, and Asari only have a single female-like gender).

And you get sent off on some sort of Spectre mission that is more than it first appears. You probably spend some time recruiting help in the form of a new batch of party members, ones whose loyalty you must manage in some fashion or other.

We should do nothing.

Developers should milk that shit for every cent it has, even if they have to tear its guts out and completely change it.

This...this must happen...IT MUST.

Same thing we do to everything else: Whore it out to endless spin-offs, books, etc.

Why make new stuff when you can just turn your existing stuff into zombies?

Some more novels might be nice... something giving a deeper story to the origins of like, the major species or something.

I'd love to see a Dragon Age Origins-type game in the Mass Effect universe, with more RPG elements and that allows you to play as other races. Namely, turians.

If we're not yet ready to leave Team Shepard behind entirely, then they could make a great game about Garrus' time on Omega, kicking merc ass. All the expo that he gave for his two years there really got me thinking how awesome it would be to live it out.

They already said that the end of Sheps tale isn't the end of ME. Why should it be it's a pretty nice established universe. My only concern is that theyv'e kind of 'flipped the mako' ;) with the reapers. Not sure you can get a worse enemy than that :<.

My two most wanted games:

-We get to play as a Quarian on his/her pilgramage. This would ditch the epic story in favor of a more personal one, but I would very much love to see it. They could make it so it's not long after the Geth have become self-aware and the Quarians have been banished from the Council for creating an AI.

-Alternatively, I'd love to be a Turian commander. I'd like to experience the duties of being in charge of a large, powerful fleet (not an RTS, though). They could make this tie into the Krogan Rebellions, in which the Council turned to the Turians (who were the newcomers back then) to defend against the Krogan.
There's also Garrus' days in C-Sec, Kasumi's various pre-ME2 heists (expanding on the heist gameplay and making it a team effort with Keiji could be neat, especially if it were coop), or simply playing as a human explorer in the uncharted worlds. Maybe even a strategy game around the expansion following the discovery of the Charon Relay. Wouldn't mind systematically kicking batarians off as many worlds as canonically possible, myself. Animals don't get colonies.

Well, this isn't Digimon or anything like that. They don't need to invent a new unbeatable all-powerful enemy who is even stronger than the last unbeatable all-powerful enemy.

Why, yes. I did recently have a nostalgia trip and watch the whole first season of Digimon Adventure.

I hope they come up with some more games in the Mass Effect universe. They've built a compelling world here, personally I think it feels much like Star Wars, but better and without goddamn midichlorians. Shepard's story will be over, but I don't want to leave Mass Effect behind yet.

I don't know why but I really wnat a Mass Effect RTS I'm an RTS fan and a Mass Effect fan so it would be pretty awesome. Also I feel like they might make a few other games that don't switch genre but tell the story of another character. Just a thought.

Create some plot device that destroys it completely to prevent further fan fics and cash cows.
