The animations play a part in how the game controls, and it definitely isn't for everyone that may be accumstomed to more arcade-like controls. It feels kinda wonky, like GTA. I think the later games implemented Havok into the mechanics too.Weaver said:I never liked them much either. I remember finally getting round to playing the first one a few years after its release and I was absolutely baffled that it scored so high.
As far as production values and set pieces go though, they have a level of detail both artistically and technically that few developers have even attempted let alone matched.
