So what will you call the first Xbox?

Well, the "Xbox one" has been announced. Though for ages thats what I've been calling the first console. So, if you're talking to a friend and wish to refer to the first console, what are you going to call it? The First Xbox? Xbox original? Xbox Classic? The Actual Xbox One? I'm curious to know the mind set with this "revelation" from Microsoft.

By the way I didn't actually watch the press coverage, why are they calling it the Xbox One? Because it's suppose to be an all in one box? I'm still going to call the new onw the 720 for a while because it actually sounds like progression.

OT: Maybe I'll go with "OGBox" or something. Not that I hardly ever talk about it in the first place, and everyone calls the 360 "Xbox" anyway which should've been more confusing than it ended up actually being.

At least in face-to-face conversation, I've continued calling it the Xbox while I call the 360 the, well, 360. I sometimes clarify by saying "the first Xbox", so I doubt Xbox One will make things any more difficult for me.

Here's the big problem, when I was in the games industry, we did the conversion from Xbox to X360. When we started getting X360s in the bays, the code for the Original Xbox was "XBOX1." The code for the 360 was "XBOX360," which made lots of sense. Now that I'm hearing Xbox1, I'm thinking, "Oh, its the bulky semi-transparent Green Box with a bulky controller."

I mean, did anyone not test these names with each other before they published them?

I'll refer to it as the first Xbox I guess. Other than that, I like to refer to things as they are called. That's why i call the Ipad 3 "The New Ipad" (The Ipad 4 is out.)

A reasonable alternative is Xbox0 (that's a zero). Or a play of words of some sort - Xboxero ("zero" and "hero" at the same time).
