Well, in The UK at least (don' know what goes on anywhere else) we now have 6 weeks off school. So...as the title suggests, what will you be doing during your 6 weeks of heaven?

Me, i will be gaming with my friends, cycling with my friends, gaming on my own, visiting the company i am gonna do work experience for in september, watchin tv, sleeping for too long, and basically enjoying myself to the max.

Also, if you live in another country, i am very interested to know what happens there-6 weeks off? no weeks off? would be cool to know
I'm already on a family holiday in France :p

well psdl is a thing that means "personalized self directed learning" only two schools in canada do it and its basicaly a thing were the students work on there own pace, no teachers, no classes just a big room with a load of desks and everyone sitting in there working not something for everyone most peoiple would rather stick to traditional working, anyway capital ex (previously called K-days) is like an amusement park thing that comes to edmonton once a year every summer and west edmonton mall is a HUUUUUUUGE mall in edmonton its one of the worlds biggest malls and I like to hang out there with my friends

I'm in highschool, I've been on vacation since late June and get back on the last week of August. My original intentions were to get a job, but yeah, that kinda didn't happen. So now I spend all my time working on games and on here talking to you awesome people.

Wow, i like tge sounds of west edmonton.
Also PSDL school sounds really interesting. I think i woujld have to try it to tell if it is something i would prefer over regular learning method...but the mere fact that i am interested enough to want to try it out is a clue that i might like it. I have always learned better on my own, with no one trying to sway me either way. How does it work? do you get set a goal to achieve by a time or like...what? You got me really interested in this. How do you learn if you are completely on your own?

kay in a big nutshell, PSDL you have things called learning guides they are your teachers, you also have workbooks you have to get completed by the end of a certain amount of time, or rather you need a certain number of credists at regular intervals during to the year if you have to much trouble there are things called "ta's" and the TA is like a teacher at the help desk they can help you they also have seminars, attendance is optional but it helps, the psdl was hard to get accustommed to (just a big change) but when you get used to it you can whiz through the year (some people finish high school in 2 years and get a whole year off)

I will sleep. In 5 years of high school I'v worked out that I'v lost 3650 hours of sleep. In the summer holidays there's only 1992 hours, I'm going to have to sleep for more than 24 hours a day.

It'll be hard, but I think I'll manage.

I plan to sleep, especially as I broke up from school yesterday pretty much every other sixth form college in the area broke up weeks ago.

I'll probably end up doing what I normally do after school, surf the net, sleep and not much else. If I find a decent book then I'll read it but that won't take up a lot of time. So yes, bumming around all summer sounds good.
