So what's the longest you've played a game in one sitting?

I ask this because normally I can't play a game for more than an hour at the most before I turn it off. I've always been a short burst type gamer unless it was online or I really got into it (I could name a load of games that have done this)

But the other day me and a friend bought Borderlands and went round mine, we also bought 40 energy drinks each and some other, less legal things. Long story short we played it three days without sleep, and beat the game.

What's the longest for you guys?

I played through Max Payne in two sittings back in the day. So I guess that was about 4 hours each sitting. Usually I only play for an hour at a time, but yesterday I played about 3 hours of Chrono Trigger.

I play a lot of RPGs and on the weekends I can pretty much play most of the day. So from 9am until 5/6pm or until I get a headache.

Record was a 60 hour sitting of Final Fantasy 8 back when I was a foolhardy teenager that believed i could finish it in one go, including all side-mission bits..... I failed.

Don't think I've ever had a marathon session of one game, but the longest I've ever played games for would be well over 24 hours. It was a time when I was younger, my dad had gone fore the weekend, I was on my own and I had nothing better to do than see how quick I could finish HL2 in. Oh, and play Urban Terror until I got way too tired to play.

Longest session I had was 8-10 hours playing straight through AC1 and AC2. I've also done the same thing with the DMC trilogy before, as well.

i think my longest stint would be on fallout 3 about 10 -14 hours.
btw ive spent more than 500 hours on that game.

I think I played Okami for about 8 hours straight when I was near the end of the game. I swear it barely felt much longer than two or three hours.
Shame I never feel like playing it through again anymore...

Wildest time I had with a game was the 48 hour sitting with True Crime: New York. My little kid body couldnt take the alsomeness so I some how fell asleep, sleepwalked upstairs, and got in bed. To this day I havent been able to replicate that scenario.

I'm not sure but I think I spent 12-13 hours playing New Vegas until about 7am. I was alone and trying to stay awake as long as I could. Bad idea.

Fable one, i played through it all in one sitting over a weekend in about 29 hours. I did everything and coudnt put it down. Im older now though and cant do that even when i try.

18 hours. It was Fable II multi. We didn't even realise. We had food with us so its not like we went hungry...
