So whats up with Aliens Colonial Marine?

I havent heard anything about it in over a year. It was looking pretty sweet last time I saw something for it.

The last thing I saw was a trailer saying something about a battalion sized force of marines. So maybe not literally a year, but still.

This is the latest gameplay, the reason the game went dark for so long was because Sega announced it too early when Gearbox was only just starting it.

Keep an eye on Kotaku; I could go look for some links for you (might later, if you still need me to), but in the middle of a Uni class (I'm such a good student! Haha). But, there's been pretty constant updates on it.

I really hope this comes out soon...Some of the guys that worked on Gloom for Quake 2 (my favorite mod EVER) are apparently working on this. If that is the case, it is going to be awesome, especially if there is multiplayer and they have complete creative control over it.

Gearbox made HL Opposing Force, a great marine game with aliens in this, so this looks awesome.

Hehe, there's plenty in the works - a lot of new SEGA games are due out in the new year. Anarchy Reigns and Binary Domain are the bigger ones to look out for.

I think Gearbox are doing the Aliens franchise justice with Colonial Marines, though. There's not a lot of hype about it yet, but when you've got the likes of MW3 and Battlefield out... Well, you're best off letting those get launched before wading in with ACM publicity.
