I'm looking forward to the Splatoon game and Star Fox U for the Wii U. Splatoon looks really interesting to me and I've been waiting for a new star fox for forever. And of course the newest Sonic game because I'm still a fan.

I'm probably going to pick up Elite: Dangerous. I've always loved space based open sandbox games, like Freelancer, and Privateer, EVE Online. So when I saw that Yahtzee thought it was pretty good, and explained why it was good, and those reasons mostly being why I enjoy space-box games, I figured I'd pick it up.

Probably won't be for a few months though, budget being what it is right now.

Gta V i suppose, would like to pick up Gat out of hell to kill some time before then, but it isn't in any of our local online shops and buying it from steam is a bit pricy.

I'm jumping back and forth with either playing Assassin's Creed 4, or finally working up to play the STALKER series. I've owned the STALKER games for a year now and only touched the first one for maybe two hours. I honestly forget why I stopped.

Currently though, I'm playing through Half Life (1, Blue Shift, Opposing Forces) with my girlfriend. However with her garbage internet it's making it quite a chore.

I'm probably gonna pick up Shadow of Mordor once it goes down in price a bit, and maybe I'll check out that Saints Row 4/Gat out of Hell thing for the PS4.

Right now I'm busy playing the REmake Remaster.

I enjoyed Shadow of Mordor a lot. I bought it full price as a birthday present to myself, and it was very fun. As others have said, the plot and protagonist are so cliche that it's utter shite, but the organic gaming experience with the Nemesis system is really damn fun. I haven't replayed it since buying it back in October, but I definitely enjoyed it.

Persona 5 is out later this year, so I'm getting hyped (to a reasonable level) for that. It will be the first game in a while I'd have bought brand new. Also, my brother just got me Mass Effect 3 for my birthday so am finally able to play that after putting it off for a few years.

I'll be picking up Majora's Mask when it comes out, but I'm not sure when I'll actually be able to actually play it, in between college, WoW, and the fact that I don't even think I'm halfway through Persona Q...and I've had it almost a month.

Seems to be a trend of people planning to buy games that came out last year. Granted, before I heard DW8Empires was coming out this year, the only game I had really been looking forward to at all was Arkham Knight. I guess 2015 really is going to be a slow year. :p

Nice to see the WiiU getting some love in this topic, though. :3

If you mean "next game going to be" as in next purchased, chances are it will be Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the 3DS eventhought I haven't played the demo yet (when the hell are the demo coming out for UK citizen??? I really want to try the demo as it let you used the different weapon in a tutorial level).

Other than that, I will probably get Majora Mask at some point but not straight away, the rest of the Steam game in my wishlist and Hyper Light Drifter is a day release purchased for me! I'm not waiting for the discount, I MUST played that game!

I'm playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution but next up I plan on playing Arcanum. I love Fallout and Bloodlines so I'm looking forward to it, planning to play a musketeer style character. A smooth talker who uses firearms and melee.

The very next game I'm going to be getting is Hyrule Warriors. But I'll need to pick up and Wii-U first. However, this is tax season, and our reward for using nearly all of the money we get back to finally pay off our bills is a Wii-U for my family. I guess technically the first game I'm gonna get is Mario Kart 8, since I have my eyes set on the Wii-U bundle that comes with it. But Hyrule Warriors is a must. My wife is a huge Zelda fan and I'm a huge Dynasty Warriors fan. And my three-year-old loves watching let's plays of the game on Youtube. So quite literally fun for the whole family!

The next expansion to Final Fantasy 14 is personally what I'm looking forward to the most, even though I'm not maxed out on my level. (Max lvl is 50 for now)

Assuming it remains on its release schedule, this:

After that? Not sure. It's a toss up between Routine [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaZqV0o7EW4], Firewatch [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey96j2aH32U], and Homeworld: Shipbreakers [http://blackbirdinteractive.com/].

Depends on which releases first.

Majora's Mask 3D for me, at the same time I get the new 3DS. After that it's one big question mark. It could be the new Fire Emblem game if it comes out some time in the Spring or Summer. I'm probably forgetting something, but these are the ones I'm most excited about.

I recently bought Danganronpa 1 for $20, which I consider is pretty expensive for a visual novel. But I want to see what all this fuss is about.
I actually just bought it about a week ago and am very much enjoying it. I'm not into visual novels, fortunately this game is a bit more interactive. You wander around, talk to characters, look for clues about murders and participate in these courtroom scenes which can actually be quite intense. To be honest there's not a lot of gameplay to speak of but it gives you a sense of agency and involvement that you probably wouldn't get (or at least I don't get) from the average visual novel. Anyway, great characters, great story, great music, great atmosphere. Great game.

And on that note, my next purchase will no doubt be Danganronpa 2.
Hey, thanks for the assurance. Although the price is more expensive than I would like it to be, I've heard great things.

Saving it for the long flight tomorrow.

Cheers.

Now that I've exhausted the Sands of Time Trilogy (that is to say, completed the first, played 5 minutes of the second before smashing the TV, played up until the first Dark Prince section of the third before smashing the TV again), all I have left on my PS3 back catalogue is my brother's copy of Infamous 2.

Thing is, I recently got hooked on a Let's Play of Dark Souls. I haven't played it before, but after watching that for a solid day, I think I'd rather take the plunge and pick up Dark Souls instead. Mind you, I've still got Shovel Knight and Beyond Good and Evil in the Steam back catalogue.

I don't have anything in particular in mind to buy next. I start back at uni soon and already have games so I'm not likely to be buying anything new for while. After I compete my current game (DS2) I'll probably play Dragonfall.

Well I just finished my second playthrough of Fire Emblem Awakening. My next game is the third playthrough of Fire Emblem Awakening and probably a fourth after that, I really don't have a new game planned aside from flicking through a random Visual Novel for 5 minutes a day. I'm addicted to the snappy crit quotes I swear...

"TIME TO TIP THE SCALES!"

*dead lol*

Robin is probably the best example of a well done blank slate character. I'm going to try sword melee Robin this time? I dunno why because the game is pretty much begging you to play mage. You start with a swordsman, a healer and a god named Frederick so anyone who knows RPGs will round out the group with a mage.

Anyway Noire has the best crit lines. Legit as fuck hysterical laughter followed by Ignis/Vengeance/Crit arrow to the face. Finally a decent archer, now I can instakill THEIR pegasus riders. Fucking enemy archers, every single time...

What even is Vengeance doing on an archer? She takes damage, (which if archers are in damage range you're doing it wrong) you move her back a space and she uses that bonus damage on her own missing health to blow that guy up next turn. Bravest archer in the game. I guess she's an anti-archer archer? She gets hit by an arrow, she fires an even bigger "fuck you" arrow back.
