I stopped giving a damn about previews and any pre-release media a long time ago. I check metacritic before I buy, and check Yahtzee and Penny Arcade newsposts so I at least know what people are talking about. I check into the Independent Gaming Source every now and then to see what's going on beyond the big names.

Mostly from the Escapist, but I also regularly browse in game stores so I get info there on what's coming out soon, as well as occasionally getting a sneaky look at hidden gems that I can't find anywhere else (for example, this one called Alter Echo for the PS2, though I have since sold it on after playing through it several times. Good game, actually ).
