Yes, I have no shame in admitting that I took the "Which Classic Disney Villain are you?" quiz. The whole time I was taking it I was afraid I would get Ursula as my closest villain. Thankfully, I got Scar and it had not truly occurred to me just how despicable and underhanded that villain was until I read the description on the Badge.

The description of Scar went something along the lines of "You killed your brother and convinced his son to think that it was his fault. You're that Evil". I had never really thought about the plot of The Lion King in those terms but now, looking back, I can't think of a worse mindfuck given from one individual to another. Scar was a seriously Evil cat.

But I have to assume that my judgment is a little skewed in this regard so I have to ask all of you: who was the most Evil Disney Villain was and why they were the most Evil?

I think Jafar is pretty evil, I mean, he wanted power in the worst way and had no problems trying to kill anyone, especially Aladdin, over it. He manipulated people with his staff to get whatever he wanted to done to get closer to his goal of ruling over the kingdom.

I never really thought that Scar was that evil, but that quiz made me rethink that a little.

Claude Frollo.
I can't think of anyone more evil than he.
Okay, so he may not be a Disney character originally, but he was still a lot more evil than most other characters I could think of.

The bad guy from the Hunchback movie; Pretty sure he was trying to 'murder/rape' the gypsy girl. And systematically abusing a foster son for many many years makes him pretty messed up.

Frollo hands down. Just... holy SHIT. This is a Disney movie right?! XD
BAH! Ninja'd. Am I the only who seems to notice the villains tend to have the BEST song in damn near every Disney movie?

The evil queen from Snow White. She wanted Snow White's heart in a box. A pig's heart wouldn't do either, oh no. It had to be Snow White's heart. In a box.

The butler in the Aristocats!! He abandoned those poor cats so he could get all the inheritance to himself! :O

In all seriousness though, the guy from Hunchback was pretty creepy. I'd probably say he was the worst. At first I was going to say the witch/sorceress in Sleeping Beauty because she was friggin scary (I always had to fast-forward the dragon part) but, she wasn't the most evil.

I got Ursula. I have no problem with that. To be honest, one of the most memorable Disney villains to me would have to be Walter from the Aristocats.

Lion King is loosely based on Hamlet. But yeah, mindfuck much.

I would say Frollo is the most evil, as revealed in Hellfire (he's a lot more, in that song, like the Frollo from Victor Hugo's orginal novel).

My favourite villain is Hades though. He's pretty evil, but he's also brilliant.

John Smith. the white guy from pocohantas. i know he wasnt really a villain, but what did he do in real life? the first explorers gave the natives blankets with smallpox pus on them and thus introduced chemical warfare. they also slaughtered thousands of natives and raped more

Agreed. Theory: The bad guys tend to sing with passion, be it a hatred of their target or a fierce pride in themselves, to borrow a bit from the Sith creed: "...through passion I gain strength, through strength, I gain power, through power, I acheive victory..." I find good guys are usually cheerful or melancholy, but never passionate. Relation?

Captcha: "Kiss eressue" ...NO.

EDIT: Ah, I forgot. OT: The Shadow Man (forgot his name) was going to feed an entire city to voodoo monsters, Jafar...would probably have torn the cosmos apart, Ursula would have maybe waged war on land, Gothel (if I heard that name right) was ruining the life of an innocent girl to keep herself young forever,(a constant, unending sin) but Frollo was enacting genocide against practitioners of parlor tricks in the name of God, honestly thinking he was doing the right thing. I'd call that the greatest evil, hatred of a group in the pretense of righteousness.

Then again, more Sith philosphy, "Good and evil are points of view." Still, we can sortof agree on what's generally considered dispicable, right?

EDIT AGAIN: If I was supposed to include evil test results, I got Jafar.

Damn, ninja'd, but I was actually going for Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.

Shit... damn you! And someone had to beat me to Ursula.

Wait... what the fuck?! These are all women... does this say something about Disney at all?!

The good guys were also mostly women too.

Actually, it's split half an half. And with the antagonists, the male ones were mostly paranoid, petty and vindictive, while the female ones actually had ambition and the badassness to follow through (happy-ending-olic Disney thing notwithstanding).

Oh, oh, another one: the Horned King from the Black Cauldron.
I watched it as a twelve year old and went 'crap, this is a Disney movie'. The first PG in the animated releases, and man that was creepy. There is no ulterior motive there, the character was basically a toned down version of Sauron without a backstory. *brrr*
