After I'm done with a game I always check its Steam page. The discussions are loosely moderated, so there's trolling and spam. The topics are usually shallow because any attempts to broaden the discussion usually end with a few pages of "its just a game lol". But that's the trade-off.

i know not everyone will agree with this but i have hardly seen such a profound and extensive discussing on a forum like on the escapist. and therefore the escapist should get more traffic (again)
Agreed. It's quite rare for a gaming-related forum.

I am totally with you but where have they gone? I really have no idea. But when I see that I more and more stay at home instead of making party like I used to when I was younger then perhaps people simply stop using forums as extensively as before with higher age? Dunno :)

This seems like kind of an intentionally provocative and nasty post to make. "Hey, host my search for a more active forum, kthankxby"
And yet, you are the only person here provoked by the post. The others have not been. Either the post failed at provoking others or you failed at not being provoked by quite an innocent post.

Or maybe you just responded with a fallacy and an otherwise empty post.
OK then, let me spell it out for you, just in case you didn't understand: you should calm down and not aimlessly attack others. Exactly these two posts of yours - try not to do that.

SweetShark's post is innocent and has also been seen as such by everybody else who commented here. It is, in fact, in line with his posting history. Which, I might add, stretches for three years (almoust four) before your join date. It is also lacking many, if not any, of the behaviour you accused him of. Your posts, however, are showing lack of knowledge lack of respect. I'd have called it "intentionally provoking" myself, howeverl, I take into account that you are new here, and as such, it's just uninentional.
