I finally downloaded it last night. I was lucky enough to decide to buy the disc hot off the presses back in the day. Now I at least can seal the steelbook in argon to preserve it. Furthermore, I have to now avoid playing it, because a few minutes will turn into 100%ing all three games.

NINTENDO TAKE PAYPAL GODDAMMIT AAAAAARRRRGGHHHHHHGGGGGGHHHGHHGHGHGHHGHGHGHGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh is Prime Trilogy out on Wii U, I had no idea, well aint this a pleasant suprise.
But seriously, I wish they took paypal because now I have to head to a store and get a paid card or a code, so I hope I can get the sale price since I know some stores can sell you a code to redeem for the game. Its how I bought Earthbound.
Paypal would be great. I've bought PSN cards from Amazon. Xbox and Steam codes are also sold there, so why is Nintendo behind? (Well, because they're
behind.)
Also, Why am I being charged tax at the eshop? The eshop is the only game market where I have to buy
extra Nintendo funny money to cover Uncle Sam's share. That really sucks because I wanted to play Shantae: The Pirate's Curse and was less that $2 short. I would have ran into the same problem with MP Trilogy if I had not already had the leftovers from the tax on Shantae.

I did and I don't even own a wii u. You can buy the codes digitally. I feel like I just bought a game off steam I can't run. Really hoping they notice people bought it and make a new one.
Ever since the last Ninty Directo, I have been hoping that the sales of Trilogy sends a message to Nintendo to get Metroid going again, with good games or at the very least putting Zero Mission (best portable Metroid) on the eshop. I guess it's good someone is contributing when they have no way to play it. Thanks.
(People, If you have a passing interest the Metroid series or really want to see a new one and plan on getting a Wii U in the next year, grab a code the way kilenem did. If you have a Wii U, you are missing out if you haven't downloaded MP Trilogy yet.)
