Damn, 10 bucks is a great deal! I was lucky enough to be able to pick up a boxed collector's copy back in the day but I'll be sure to spread this around!

I bought it before realizing it requires a nunchuck, I didn't have a Wii so I will need to buy one to play it. But the deal is still pretty sweet - hopefully Nintendo bring a Metroid Wii U title.

I shouldnt be so nitpicky about stuff like this but its because of that attitude (thinking that its a great deal when its just ok) that gets the game to cost 100$ in the first place.

I don't logically follow. It's $100 because they stopped making the game before demand was satiated. It's never going to cost that again because now that people can buy it digitally just to play it, the demand is going to drop way down. The only people that will value it that highly are those that are collectors. That demand is only determined by the rarity of the game, not the hype behind it. You're right though, your pessimism is self defeating.

If they didnt sell as few as they did (turning it into a somewhat rare product) 10$ wouldnt sound that great of a deal, am I right?

Anyone that was uncertain at first of buying an amiibo probably will now since they know that if they dont buy it at the chance they have they will be long gone.

Nintendo is playing you, and the problem isnt that they are charging more for something that should be cheaper (its digital, that never runs out so it isnt even in direct competition to the rare, now sold as 100$, disc games), the problem is that the fanbase sees that as good will.

ANYway... back on topic... you know... point of the thread. Thanks for letting us know. I bought it when it came out and enjoy it a lot. I hope everyone who enjoys the series gets a chance to pick it up for this price. In my opinion it's worth it.

I wasnt saying that it wasnt a deal or anything, I was saying that there have been a lot of better deals to someone that said "To me, this is one of the best deals I've seen in years for games, and I watch Steam constantly" and that the notion was coming from the way that Nintendo prices and sells its things (the price of their games drop a lot slower for example).

And did you really create an account just to say this? You and the OP have already used personal insults (hopeless and filled with garbage, plus you made a pretend quote where I insult all of you, that is a poor way of representing someone), a thing that I never did to any of you (certainly not you since you are new here) so cut down on the defensiveness.

Case in point, compared with most deals its an ok one, something along the lines of the usual Rockstar sales (multiple times a year) where you can buy a GTA pack with all the GTA games for 7$ so I cant see how anything that I am saying is wrong since this isnt indeed "one of the best deals I've seen in years for games, and I watch Steam constantly".

You certainly are welcome to disagree with that, on your personal level, but what you were saying to me before was that it isn't a good deal, as if better deals were common, and I'm looking at the wrong numbers which makes me think it's a good deal.

it is a very good deal. If you think that any GTA is anywhere remotely near the game that any of the 3 games included here is there is no helping you. That is like saying the deal you got for that Benz isn't good cuz I saw a Jag down the road for half the price. Guess what, it's probably falling apart.

Overall your steam sales sound like bin affairs to me. Have fun binging on mediocre crap. Meanwhile, leave it to those who can appreciate them to enjoy these 3 crowning achievements. Like fine wine. You appreciate them more over time with all the crap coming out.

And btw half the credit going to the souls series for embedded story telling, not holding your hand etc should be going to these games.

I actually did NOT like the wiimote controls for the Prime and Prime: Echoes, so I will not be purchasing the digital copy on the Wii U. Now if they were to just change the control scheme to utilize two analog sticks, then I would definitely repurchase them, but they wont, so I wont.
