Just stumbled across this game and decided to watch the first two trailers. This completely slipped past me from E3, and I wondered if anybody else had heard of it.

In the initial trailer we open with some mediocre voice acting, and I think a good bit of mispronunciation. We are then treated to some less than brilliant character animations, done with dubious graphics. Not much more happens, apart from the big troll thing that looks stolen straight from 300, or anything with a big troll guy in, and then we are left with a feeling of a certain parkour related game? Surely not!

The second trailer has very little new to boast for itself, we see some new city scapes, one nicely rendered castle, that looks stolen straight from Oblivion. Then the camera pans around another scene, which anybody could be fooled for thinking that it was the first Assasin's Creed. We then see a few more characters who look like extras from Assasin's Creed and a few more crappy animations that also look to take more than a few queues from the aformentioned game. So far so unimpressed, but the trailer ends on, and I kid ye not, a move which is clearly a Leap of Faith.

Now copying a few bits, or taking ideas from other games is inevitable. But so many shown in two measly trailers? Ubisoft can't copyright how the 12th century looked but he art style is almost identical! This just looks like a crappy Assasin's Creed wannabe, we can find out when review time rolls around, but so far put me down for unimpressed.

So for discussion, do you think this looks good, mediocre or terrible?
Have you ever looked at another game and thought that it was trying to be something else completely?

Looks like a low budget job, which you can't fault a game for, so I'm reserving my judgement.
As for the similarities... meh. The leap of faith was very Assassin's Creed - esque, but it looked as if he was flying to me, not falling.

I'll admit - I read the thread as 'the first temple' and immediately thought 'Isn't that normally the forest temple?'

Definitely nothing to do with the fact that I'm watching a master quest, majora's mask, and twilight princess let's play. No way.

Has potential, pity its only on 360, the PC version might be pretty good, have to wait and see what its all about (beyond the obvious 'the first templar'/s).

From what i've heard:

It's fairly low budget.
It's not as polished as a game of it's time should be.
It has potential.

That is honestly all i have heard about it, so I'm a bit dubious as to buying it on Steam...

Actually it is for Microsoft Windows too.
