So why have people been clamoring for Beyond Good & Evil 2 all this time anyway?

It might have been something special at the time, but all things age. I remember being amazed by half-life 2, now theres a bunch of kids saying that it's boring and so on.

I dunno, when are people going to shut the fuck up about Half-Life 3?

I think most people have given up on it. Even the "Half Life 3 confirmed!" jokes have trickled to almost nothing at this point.

Plus, ended on a cliffhanger, right?

Those always work the first couple times.
I didn't really get why that cliffhanger was a cliffhanger actually.

I mean, we saw Double H cured of that Domz parasite no big deal... Couldn't Peyj just get the same cure?
I think people refer to the fact that Jade was apparently an Alien all along but didn't know it. And it's never actually explained what was going on there.

And we'll never know exactly what that was supposed to be about.
Huh. I don't know if I'd really consider that a cliffhanger since the game never really presents that aspect as unresolved. It's unexplained, yeah, but it's pretty well been resolved.
Well, it barely talked about it at all until the end, which is part of the reason it's unexplained. It just kinda comes out of nowhere for a twist ending and then the game is over.

Almost as if they were trying to use it as a sequel hook.
