Gravity powers:

name- Vortex

costume- no friggen clue. Probably some kind of dark body armor, with a cloth mask to preserve my identity

powers- Gravity powers. Like, lift stuff up and chuck it. And the ability to focus gravity so I can pin people to the ground, or send them flying into the air, team rocket style. And the power to stop bullets, and crush things with sheer gravity power!

Weakness - Ok, controlling liquids with gravity would be a pain. So liquid based weapons, or laser based weapons would be immune to my defenses.

Barrier power

powers- The power to generate reflective barriers anywhere I please, and manipulate them at will. So I could make an armor suit of barriers. I could make disk-shaped barriers to fling at people. I could deflect attacks. I could (with full manipulation of the barriers), make them move around, and thus fly on them. And for a secret weapon, I could make a barrier appear inside someone's brain to insta-kill them.

costume- I would just use my powers to create a "suit of barrier armor" and that would be my costume. Easy to carry, AND protective!

Weakness - ...Yeah, maybe artillery shells might break my barriers....I dunno. Also it's not very good for offense.

Powers: Slight psychkenesis; telepathy, other mind reading abilities; shutting down of mental processes; other general mind fuckery; impossibly high intellegence and recall; the ability to absorb information from books by touching them, or maybe by sleeping on them (see Edgar Caysey).

Costume: using previously mentioned mental manipulation to alter people's perception, either becoming unnoticed (see Doctor Who's perception filters), beccoming invisible altogether, or altering appearence when direct communication is necessary. Though a mask does seem like a requirement due to cameras and the like.

That's a pretty interesting set of powers there. Mind control is always so useful isn't it?
