Activision, letting someone else besides Infinity wars do COD. The new COD blows. STOP GOING BACK TO WW2, and DONT RELEASE A GAME WITH SO MANY BUGS BUT SAY WE WILL GET AROUND TO FIXING IT. >.< sorry a little rant.cuddly_tomato said:Denis Dyack making Too Human.
Obsidian releasing KotOR 2 too early and not finishing it (did untold damage to their reputation).
I remember, but that is in a part of my head that I wish not to remember.Eggo said:Don't remember the driver problems from XP's launch? Lucky you :]Hevoo said:XP launch was bad but not as bad as vista, look at the driver problems.
btw I have vista and I <3 it.
Yeah, but have you heard who he's hiring to clean out the universe to make sure he has the space for it? Azathoth, and that guy is a real dick.TsunamiWombat said:GOD, for producing Humanity. Buggy software, file sharing issues and complicated/delicate hardware. Fortunatly his next project, Gelgamek, promises to be much more bug free.
The 360 launch was horrible, but what were the "issues they already had with the Xbox"? I mean, the big-ass controller was replaced early on, the problem it had was that it was already late and the DC and the PS2 were way ahead of it. Regardless, it was a solid piece of hardware. Bought it during the Halo 2 launch and it's still a functional media center (thanks to XBMC) at a friend's place. Bought a PS2 six months earlier and its DVD drive died a year ago.TerraMGP said:Microsoft releasing the 360 a year early without doing the proper testing of its hardware to clear up issues they already had with the X box let alone root out the slew of new issues
Here is a POS that was lost in time virtual boy.....Makes the 360 look awesome.Woe Is You said:The 360 launch was horrible, but what were the "issues they already had with the Xbox"? Well they are trying to save the PC gaming market from its self, people who steal games are destroying the market. What company is going to invest money in a game that 30% of there players will have stolen it.thePyro_13 said:EA... installation limits
That and every other thing they've done.
Actually it really wasn't. I opened a few of them up and the design really was not that good in terms of getting rid of the heat created by all of those components, not to mention the mess of putty all over the place. I've opened up alot of PS2s as well and I can tell you Sony does a much better job at keeping things neat and clean while making sure to keep it fairly stable in design and cool. Microsoft didn't do that, but it was not as big of a problem as the components at the time didn't generate quite as much heat and they seemed to have their firmware down. But they should have seen the 'our old system had some minor heating issues maybe we should think a bit about cooling it' warning lights, and perhaps that would have led them to check other hardware and firmware problems.Woe Is You said:The 360 launch was horrible, but what were the "issues they already had with the Xbox"?
