Anyone know what time it is, don't remember if he said it was.
I was gonna go with it being noon, meaning we should hit dark about the time we reach our destination. But the briefing does say 0300, which would mean we'd arrive at daybreak :/ Don't know if Brunt did that on purpose, it's pretty tough to do anything in the daytime
Damn you caught me. ;) Yes, I chose to have you meeting at 0300 because I knew by the time you crossed the border it would be morning or at least close.
So which is it? :p Just so I can get the details in place
It is 0300 when you received your dossiers, its up to you at which time you leave however as some people have rightly put it the intel was new and Axel is being chased. So its up to you when you leave do you be quick to catch him? Or do you take it slow and steady to be safe?
Roger, will adjust my approach a teeny bit then, sorry folks.

"wouldn't it be beneficial for the recon to go in first now, and be an hour ahead of the rest of the team. That way the snipers can have time to set up, and get a count on guards, cover, and various things like that?" Crown says.

Just a thought, I think it would be good to leave as soon as we get there and get equipped, and get there at dawn, if we can that is. That way we have them at one of the worst times of the day, as it is a desert compound and desert sunrises are some of the brightest out there. just my input

"Chris brings up a good point. We need callsigns. Obviously, Michael is Spartan 1, but we need to know for everyone so we can be reached over the radio." Striker said, looking around.

"Well then wouldn't that make the rest of us "Spartan *number*? Although if we're picking our own callsigns. I'll take Chansey" Anthony said from the car.

"It's uh......it's my kids favourite pokemon....*cough*"

Nuts...I gotta head off now. How about we just say I was asleep in the car until I get back. Sure it's unSEALlike but it's better than simply not existing for a period of time

"Chansey? Ok, I gotta say that this could get odd... Anyway, if we're picking callsigns, mine is Viper. Otherwise, whatever callsign I am issued is what i'll go with."

Noted, but we probably wouldn't make it there before sunrise. I've revised my briefing to give a few time-marks. Other point answered below

While heading for the car, Michael answered Crown's question.
"No real advantage in splitting up. It is maybe putting all eggs in one basket, but we stand a better chance being all together if we do get caught. There'll be plenty of time for reconning once we're at the OP, but we don't have to time to recon the route. Hope for the best, really."

Turning to face the rest of the team, he continued: "We'll do radio checks on the road, along with callsigns and so on. For now, Victor 1, that's me, and Victor 2, Gannon, should be enough. But let's get going."

With that, he got in the passenger side of the car, placed his M4 on the floor, partially hidden under his seat, keeping his pistol hidden under his fleece overshirt.

"Alright, you heard the man. West, Crown, Brennan, mount up." Chris stated, while heading to the rear car. He got into the front passenger side, made sure his sidearm was loaded and safety on, and finally holstered it.

I'm probably only going to be on occasionally until about 8:30 US central time. I'll try to be on at the top of each hour, or around there.

"Alright, let's get going" Striker said, as he got into the car and started the engine.

I am posting once before I have to go to a young cousins birthday party, but its at a place called Rare Bears or some shit, so I am gonna say "Hi, here's your present, let's go!"

After all, it's like a bear making factory. Anyway, I should be back in...1-3 hours.

Keal climbed into the back of the front vehicle. He leaned forward and said to Michael, "Listen, my call sign is Wombat, but if any of you call me that, I swear you'll end up deader than all these Iranians. It's a call sign, not a nickname!"

Keal leaned back and looked around. It was still dark. Keal turned over and shut his eye, "Wake me up when we get there"

Or I get back. If you must, any of you can control my guy, just things like get out of the car etc.

"LET ROLL OUT" David Roared as he did a burnout and started driving.
I'm going to pretend that didn't happen. Nobody of any military in the world would do that, so take it down a notch.

As everybody seemed to be in their places, Michael gave the nod to Striker, or Viper as he said, and the car rolled gently on down the poor quality blacktop leading away from the hangar. Behind him, he saw the other car rolling up behind them, maintaining a good spacing between them. Michael took out his radio and initiated the radio check:
"Victor 2, this is Victor 1, radio check, over?"
He quickly received an affirmative response from Gannon, so he continued:
"Victor 2, while we're driving feel free to let your guys get some sleep if they want, but only one at a time. I want a 75% watch at all times. Victor 1, out."

"I'm going to assume that you don't want me sleeping while I'm driving." Striker said as he rolled off. "Could have unfortunate consequences"

Ugh sorry guys. I was extremely busy over the past few days >_< I really should have posted that but Yeah I am back. I'm also tired so my post might not be really up to my standards.

Harlan lugged his HK and put in the trunk before taking one of the middle seats of the car. He didn't mind his assault rifle being in the trunk but he did mind if he didn't have his shotgun close by. He placed it on the floor of the car, covering it with a blanket. On the outside it looked as if he was just a man snug in his blanket.

It only had been a few days since Harlan was able to catch some rest from the last OP and he looked forward to it stoicism that resembled that of a warrior monk. They were warriors that devoted their lives, bodies, and soul to be a some modern day Crusader except they didn't fight for an ideology but for their country.

"Hope some of you speak Persian." Harlan joked. He knew a bit of Persian but they mostly consist of terms like "We come in Peace."

"Roger, Victor 1," he replied. He then spoke out to the guys in the car, "Alright guys, yall can get some shut eye, but only one at a time. No more than an hour and a half for each of you. He then thought for a minute and spoke into his radio, "Victor 1, this is Victor 2, I have a question: What is our escape plan exactly? Grab the HVI and wait for choppers to exfil us, or drive back across the border?"

Good first day of RP guys, I thought I will give you a little bit of trouble to wake up to.
As you approach the Iranian boarder you notice what seems to be a empty checkpoint due to you already being slightly behind schedule and you don't follow usual protocols and attempt to pass through unnoticed. This however was a trap as Iranian intelligence have told them about your attempt. As heavy metal building witch resembles a toll booth a group of Iranians jump out from door and cover pointing AK-47's and RPG's at the vehicles all of witch are shouting in Persian. You swiftly look around and do a count up of the enemies and their positions.

"Well, shit. This ain't a good start to the mission." Striker said, as he did a quick check for escape routes. "Your call Michael, do we blow through and hope for the best, or stop and hope for the best?"
