Chris got up and headed down off the roof of the building. He went to the trunk of the rear vehicle and put his combat vest on, filled it with magazines, flash bangs, etc. After he was finished, he grabbed his MP7, laid his sniper rifle back in the trunk, and got into the front passenger side. "Alright, whenever we're all ready," Chris said into his radio. He then loaded his MP7, rolled the window down, and got ready to move out.

Ahh, I see what you mean. In this case the US wouldn't/Can't (You might see that changing very soon) sent armour to save their people because they want the ability to decline it was them. What would be pretty easy because a couple of you ain't even Americans, however if you need CAS and it gets denied by his upper ups then he's going to look around for what he can get. The British already use the airfield that they're mobilizing for the upcoming war and if you, if you wait and see what happens when you collect Axel you will realize why the British would come and help you. Hope that clears it up.

Keal was sitting in the back of the car, bored. He still had his SCAR ready between his legs. As an afterthought, he pulled out a ration bar and started to snack on that. He realised he hadn't eaten at all that day.

Jonah sat back, reached around his sweatband for one of his few precious cigarettes,lit it, and took one deep drag before blowing the smoke out the window. He then proceeded to snuff out the end of the cigarette and replaced it back in it's place behind his headband.

Nah, Anthony seems awol, let's carry on. I'd guess he's just an NPC now, then? Also, try not to express OOC impatience in IC text. It makes it seem like we're just parked around doing nothing, which, of course, we wouldn't be.

Keal leaned forward and said, "So, what's the plan? I feel like we won't really be able to do this by stealth, but then again I am just a big old brute. Speaking of which, do we have any heavy weapons with us? I could probably lug that out when we set up our little outpost."

As the two cars set off towards their new objective, they could see the east horizon starting to turn purple. The sun would rise soon enough and the darkness would soon be gone, although if the Iranians knew they were coming, it might do them little good anyhow.
As he directed Striker down a small hillside road, Michael started to dislike this whole operation. Why weren't they being given more support? How could the Iranians have known exactly where they would be crossing? They could of course have set the same trap on all roads crossing the border, but still... that officer... Did the Iranians have a source close to the team? If so, how close? He wouldn't have thought anyone on the team were in bed with the Iranians, but then again, most of them he'd never seen before.
