(Solved) Help needed looking for a game

I forgot the name of a game. I remember some parts about the mechanics and theme of the game.
If someone could help me with finding the name of the game that would be great.
I remember the following :

- released on steam
- released around the same time as hyper light drifter
- Gauntlet like gameplay
*topdown
*fast paced
*Limited amount if lives
*you clear rooms
- There is a light progression system. I think you unlocked certain skills/stats via cards
- Occult theme in the present day
- To unlock characters you needed to complete the game with a other character.

Thats All I can remember now will update if I remember more. If someone could help me on this that would be great, thank you in advance.

It says 'Older Games,' but it covers this as well.

Anyway, Hyper Light Drifter was released in March, 2016. Shouldn't be that hard to find a release schedule and find the game you're talking about.
