I wouldn't say easily avoidable, unless you do all your shopping online.

I've heard his music on in shops more times than I'd care for, and the shop I worked at had one of his songs on the music playlist, so I heard it at least twice a shift.

I must ask, is it kill and castrate, in that order? The second part seems sort of worthless if it is, unless you want some sort of "trophy" of what you've done.

And anyway, we can't get rid of Bieber. Without Bieber, we wouldn't have Baby, and without Baby, we wouldn't have TF2 Heavy's version of Baby.

I love that article.

Top paragraph...

A man has been arrested for allegedly plotting to kill and castrate teen pop sensation Justin Bieber in New York last month.
Then directly underneath it...

WIN: A family winter wonderland holiday to Canada
As if to say "who gives a shit about that when you can have a FREE HOLIDAY"

When I read the first line of the OP I misread it as someone being arrested for "illegally plotting to kill and castrate" Bieber. As if there's a method of doing those that's somehow legal, say having the proper permits...

Anyway, what would be the point of killing then castrating? Surely it should be the other way around... ;D

I honestly don't quite get why people still cling on hating Bieber. Sure, he is a naive mannerless brat, but com'on already! The joke's gotten old. And if anything, you you just end up giving him more publicity!

Is it still a "thing" to joke about Beiber's (non-existent) talent/manliness/whatever in order to sound "hip" and "edgy"? If so, people really have too much spare time.

killing him is not enough? have to castrate him as well? Is this a case of: just to be sure...?

I'm not a justin bieber fan but this does seem a bit harsh. There is always the option of not listening to his music. And maybe if you see him in the street you could tell him that you wish his mom had aborted him. That seems fair. He might actually be a strong argument in the abortian debate.

A life sentence in the states is a sentence of about 25 years. where the maximum single sentence can only be 35 years. So a double life sentence is a 50 year sentence.

Pretty simple logic really
by that simple logic i should serve 100 consecutive death sentences.
also, what about military leaders?

It is impossible to castrate Justin Bieber. You cannot castrate that which was never truly male.
actually, you can castrate women.

you need some pretty decent definition of "easy to avoid" when graffiti of "i ♥ Justin Biever" keeps appearing on your house.

Yes, they are called death sentences.

I just love how the mass hate of him on the internet is probably what spurred this guy on to plan to do something like this to a random pop star who he otherwise probably would have been completely indifferent to. I mean seriously, you don't like his music, I get it, but is he really so absolutely ear-screechingly bad or without talent that he needs to be killed, and castrated?... Unless he was anything like this, then killing him is justified.

Have fun with the nightmares!

Well I guess I should put in there also that you need to get caught to be punished
Also the fact that all illegal things don't have the same consequence and therefor I hope you saying 100 death penalties is a bit overexagurated.

Military leaders...
well there is a thing called "Law in War" or something like that which states that the laws about "murder" and such are different when it comes to those situations since society is pretty much turned up side down by those events.
But there are still laws that state that if you kill civilians you'll be punished with "murder" except when doing something like that in war the penalty is actually higher (at least in Finland) than "normal murder" since you've been actually allowed to kill for your own country, so you shouldn't missuse that power.

If you're going to greentext at least do it right.

OT: I've heard people say morbid and absurd things about Beiber before, hell, I've said shit like this about him before, but to actually plot this...

I'm simultaneously amused and horrified, but that's humanity for you.

i could get into a bus, look around, have a daydream about murdering half the passengers in different extremely painful ways, get off at my stop and go crunch some numbers behind a desk. switching between murder images and regular life is like switching the light-bulb on for me.
now i wont go and do it for real, obviously, but if i were to, i would have a plan to kill hundreds if not thousands before i get caught. multiple plans actually.

See, I've never listened to a Bieber song all the way through or talked to an obsessive Bieber fan about Bieber. In fact, I find it rather easy to avoid all mention of the man.

Unless I go on internet forums.

I don't know how laws work in differet countries but I've got the basics in my country (Finland)
And here what you are describing "thinking" isn't an actual planning phase, you actually have to have thought longer about it and think through your plan before it is concidered planing. Like finding notes in your home saying how you'll excecute a busload of people the day before x-mas. That would be concidered a plan, in simplicity.
The thing is, the little I've studied is all in Swedish and my English words I'd need for a proper explanation are not words I know so therefor it might be a bit vague.
But me walking over a bridge seeing someone leaning a bit over the fence and my brain going "Kick him down" is not an illegal act. That's just your brain farting in your face.

This faddish hating on Bieber is getting disturbing now. All for what? Because he's living his dream and getting money? Because he makes music you don't like? There's so much music in the world I hate that if I were like some people who hate on Bieber, I'd have such a major aneurysm my head would burst. But I just avoid the music or tune it out. Damn, buy some headphones or something.

And personally, I like a few of Bieber's songs. Still rather be listening to Kendrick Lamar or Andre 3000 or WuTang or something but a couple of his songs aren't too bad.
