I've done it 4 times, always as a male shepard and always 'romancing' tali. I usually played as a vanguard. BADASS CHARGE FTWWWWWW

I won't lie...I may be one of those four who have beaten it 23 times >>; Or at least one of the ones with a 66 hour playthrough, seeing as how I'm still going through doing every tiny little subquest on the off chance that ME3's import feature will factor in all my work when it's giving me my bonuses.

Played through twice, both as Female Paragon Infiltrator. First on Veteran (completed in about ~20 hours), second on INSANITY (~15, but that doesn't include having to constantly reload after dying over and over gain on certain fights).

Also managed to get all the achiev... OH WHAT SHADOW BROKER IS OUT NOW? Better DL it so I can get all the new achievements!

Conversation is the best part of ME2!
it's the only thing that stops it from being a gutted down generic third person shooter from the first one.

Im guessing the 15% of skipped converstations were all during the tutorial at the begining.

Played it through once and had enough of it. Saved all but two because I think I couldn't persuade 2 people or just 1.

Couldn't stand those side puzzles to open chest or console. WHY would they add such boring ones? The first one was more fun to use and actually took a bit of skill once you got to the tougher ones.

I also didn't like how they handled the weapons. I ran around with to few weapons for too long. Some missions where pretty disappointing due to their length.

Tali was like the only reason I played the game. Didn't care about the rest until I saw Legion.

Oh and I played a Female for fun.

Probing got way to tiring as well. I wish they could have made some really good gold mines on some planet. Or given you better tools.

The game wasn't bad, voice acting was just fine, just didn't find it that awesome. Saving the universe twice now.

True, but only 15%? That is actually really good: think of how many people skip cutscenes, or mash the A button to get through written dialogue to the gameplay. Some people just don't care about story, and it shows in how they play the game: only 15% of the dialogue being skipped (especially considering multiple playthroughs when you know what people will say sometimes) says a lot about the quality of the writing.

That stat about 80% of people play as a male Shepard is a bunch of bullhonkey. It makes me think they just made up all those stats, or took a very tiny sampling.

Guilty as charged.
Made nearly 11 new characters, and I probably will, just to see the renegade to LOTSB and Overlord (because I got them on PC).

I wonder if they have these stats for Mass Effect 1, probably. I wonder how many people were unfaithful as well.

I definitely was, as if that wasn't already apparent.

I'd say the saddest part is that 50% of people didn't finish the game.

I've always gone Vanguard, female and I'm on my I think my 9th play through and I play on insanity difficulty. I'm not surprised at the stats though. ME2 is an amazing game and very hard to put down. Each of my play throughs are about 70 hours.

80% played as Male Shep? That means 80% of players played Male at one point or another? Or does it mean that 80% of total playthroughs were male? I highly doubt it's the second one.

I have done a bit of it but every time I think, "I have to finish that game" I then follow that thought with "but I can't be arsed!".

Most of the time I walk around talking to the same 10 people, repeating the same dialogue, getting frustrated 'cos I have no clue what to do next.
