Actually, if you did the Old Man Trick, among others it was quite possible to secure a maximum of 171, 20 of these being Glitch Pokémon like Missingno and the M-block, and one of them being Mew, who was actually obtainable through a glitch. Don't listen to people saying he's under the truck in SS Anne's territory.
