Something I just noticed about Star Wars

So I was watch an ad for the rerelease of Star Wars in 3D while waiting for a Michael Buble song to start, and I realized that George Lucas really loves the word "no" for some reaason. By my recollection, a dramtic (and sometimes retarded) scream of "NOOOOOOOO" has been used no less than four time in the series (for the purposes of this conversation, we are assuming the prequels exist. Deal with it):

Episode 1: Obi-wan, when Qui-gon died
Episode 3: Vader, when...well, you know.
Episode 5: Luke, when Vader revealed he was Luke's father
Episode 6: Vader, when Palpatine was torturing Luke (This one I consider noncanon and stupid, but I put it here for the purposes of the thread)

Anyway, I'm curious if I missed any, and more importantly, how many were actually necessary. Obi-wan and Luke, I can definitely get behind (because let's face it, I even yelled no when Qui-gon died), and I kind sorta see the one in number three (even if I thought it was cheesy as hell). But the one Lucas added in number 6...*silently raging*...that one is completely uncalled for and is a travesty to the scene itself.

So, thoughts?

Even though I like Star Wars, I have to admit it is badly written with plot holes bigger than the gap naboo left behind. The scripts have always been awful, but that's part of the charm. And I shout Noooo! on occasion when something upsetting happens.

See, but in a fictional universe, couldn't they just use fictional curse words/exclamations of dismay and surprise? Not that I really mind the "Noooo"s, but it just seems to me... Oh, God. Even I've lost interest in my post. Look, Firefly did it and that was awesome. That's what I'm getting at.

I believe there is one in Episode 4 by Luke when Obi-wan dies...its not drawn out like the others...but I think it counts

In fairness to him Ep 5 and Ep 1 No's were actually relatively fitting it is the Ep 6 and Ep 3 No's that are fucking ridiculous and over the top. Ep 4's was actually ok too.

Well I mean it is Star Wars good it is excellent writing it does not possess.

Its a good, classic, dramatic way to express "I AM NOT PLEASED BY THIS TURN OF EVENTS". Its hammy, but these are movies. People aren't supposed to act like actual people; they are supposed to act like characters. NOOOOOO is fine.

Indeed. The writing's really cheesy when you sit down and look at it, but it works (mostly).

Like Power Rangers. The show's cheesier than a box of Velveeta, but that's what made it work.
