There are some things that people tend to pretend that they never existed, and I don't mean like a group of people who hate something so much they block it from their memories.

For example, does anyone know what Gone Country is? It was a reality show that aired on CMT that ran for three seasons. Dee Snider, Sebastian Bach, and Cris Kirkpatrick were all in the series' run, and yet I've seen absolutely NO mention of it on TV Tropes or any other site that isn't Wikipedia.

Anyone else notice this with anything else?

It's it got a fandom on the internet then there will be something. The show you're talking about much have sucked a lot, or it's fan's aren't dedicated enough/don't use the internet enough to make something like a TV Tropes Page. It's not the first time, I've seen a couple things not on there. There's just too much stuff out there to effectively cover all the small fry in the sea

I remember CMT, but I don't think I ever watched this show. Enlighten me?

We're talking about Country Music Television, I suppose? I think you'll find that their fanboys are somewhat less vocal about just about everything. Stands to reason, their footprint is somewhat smaller than other fanbases.

So yeah, if you're really interested about making the show well-known, get on it. Otherwise, why do we care, again?

I really hate how Escapist members are so rude to people like this.

Do people who enjoy Country music, let alone a television channel dedicated to it even have internet access?

I think it's simply a matter of unrelated demographics. The types of people who watch things on CMT are usually not the types who like to to explore and participate in web sites like TV Tropes.

If it doesn't have the name Star in the title, feature kittens or puppies, or has relevance to Joss Whedon, then the internet tends not to care.

People, note that I put at the end of my post: "Anyone notice this with ANYTHING ELSE".

You don't have to keep talking about Gone Country, thus why I put that at the end of my post.
