Alright, to start off I do not like making threads. I like to leave that to pros or just the overall snarky members of our community. But I was ransacking my closet today and I stumbled upon something that I knew some of you would nostalgia about. Yup. The Nintendo E-Reader. Remember that thing? I bet 90% of you guys just had a flash of it, 9% Don't know about it or forgot about it, and the last 1% is cussing me out because they just found their's. Anyway. What do you think the big fail on it was? Buying cards were cheaper then games. But they were easy to loose, the device was clunky, and if I remember right, wasn't cheap. But when I plugged it in, powered it up, and played some excitebike I had a lot of fun. When I was done with that I swapped in donkey kong jr. Both were great trips to the past. Anyway, this thread works two ways. Do you remember having this thing? And why do you thing this is the gameboy add-on that time forgot? (Or I think forgot as I haven't heard any of you guys talk about it in my 1+ years being on the boards)
Oh and note, that is a gameboy micro on the right, and a Gameboy Sp on the left I also found in my closet. In the 3gamesandwich as I used to call it.

Yeah, I've got one too. It was kinda neat, especially when they started making Pokémon cards compatible with it, but the lack of interesting games to play for it and overall impracticality led to its imminent demise.

I think the lack of comments are due to it being difficulty reading it because of the way your post is formatted.

OT: I only remember the E-Reader being used for Pokemon, but I never had one.

Never had one. I seem to remember you could plug it in to animal crossing and get stuff.

I remember those devices. I remember that I wanted an E-Reader because it had stuff that I could use for the original Animal Crossing, but I never got one and then they seemed to disappear. The Micro on the other hand I never really wanted because I knew that I was most likely going to lose it really quickly. Then that disappeared too. Why is it that when a Nintendo product doesn't seem to sell well it and the memories seem disappears from the face of the Earth?
