Something Unexpected....

I don't understand the used game market. With maybe two exceptions, I've never wanted to resell or trade a game away. I enjoy collecting them.

I was going to trade in some games at my local store when they told me a new rule kicked in just yesterday. They said that if you trade in 1 game, you must buy 1 game. Same for 2 games, 3 games, and 5 games.

Fellow Escapists, how do you feel about this?

Seriously though, screw 'em. I always shop at either Game, Gamestation or CEX for my games. Game and Gamestation are expensive but they do pretty good deals, and seem to actually care about their customers. Even if they don't give you much cash for trade-ins and preowneds. When selling I just do ebay anyway, I can get more money through that. As for CEX, they're just cheap yet almost always good quality stuff, I get all my DVDs there now

(though not music, I prefer a non-cracked CD case, so I still get music from HMV...)
