Well, personally, I'd omit God and Country. Probably honor, as well. The people I love and the things in which I believe. Nothing else.

Well put, because if if you're not willing to risk it all for what you hold precious then are they really that important to you?

Interesting fact: Did you know that the bolded area of my quote you used is actually the definition of "Love" as portrayed in the video game Wild ARMs? I hold that definition very dear to me, as I do Courage and Hope from the same game.

No I did not, but Ive never played Wild ARMS

A mark in history, I dont see the point in living if you dont leave something behind although if by any reason humanity gets wiped out you get forgotten and your existance becomes meaningless.

Yeah... the universe is just random, there is no purpose of life.

Something to die for is a strange thing. In what situation would you need to die to do something good? Like stopping a bullet for someone? But how would you see that coming without warning before so I could just walk up to the person with the firearm and at least try to disarm that person.

I'd probably die in a mugging defending myself. I know you shouldnt really fight back. But I just cant let some scum get stuff I worked for. So yeah I'd die that way.

The part of my brain which deals in obscure references says to look in the flames of a burning flag and the wreckage of a job well done.

The part of my brain which deals in cliches says for romance and family.

The part that deals in logic says hopefully nothing.

Is that by Rise Against? i remember hearing something similar by them.

OT: I'd die for the continuation of all life. Seems like a good-enough reason, i guess.

I would die for either of my children and for my partner of nearly 5 years. I'm pretty sure I would die without them too. I would have nothing to live for without them x

I'm not afraid of death, but I'm not in any rush for it to happen either. So if my girlfriend and/or my closest friends were being threatened, and I could save them, but at the expense of my own life, I'd probably do it. But I'd fight like a ************ on the off-chance that I could save myself and them.

Never...played...Wild ARMS???

*brain convulses*

Seriously, it's a good RPG. Story is solid and the music is pretty cool. Graphics are crap, but that's they only negative I have about the game. Though I've only played the first Wild ARMs and browsed over vids of the others, it's a definite recommend from me if you're into RPGs.

Correct. I was kinda worried I'd misquoted it, haven't heard the song in a while...

I can think of an awful lot of things I'd be happy to sacrifice life for.

Not mine, of course, but that's life.

Or not.

The three people who I consider good friends, my girlfriend, and the most delicious pie in the world, which I'd keep from the mandibles of lesser mortals at the cost of my own life.
