Happy Holidays Escapist,

So while I was fapping to the ultimate virgin, Ann Widdecombe (those in UK knows who she is, don't judge me), it got me thinking of something. What is something you were inquisitive about OR something your mates told you to Google that you just wish you didn't.

Oh boy I can already guess how this will go so I will say NO IMAGES please. I don't want anyone sick, haunted or banned a day before Christmas. Just let us know how it made you react and why the heck did you search it in the place.

Thank you and yes you can hate me for bringing back disturbing memories like 2 girls 1 cup... DON'T GOOGLE IT!!!

I'm generally pretty good about not googling those things (I've never seen 2 girls 1 cup, for example). But blue waffle sounded harmless enough...

Ah yes, the woman famously described as a "homophobic human mudslide". To be honest, I have no idea whether it's against rules to mention horrible stuff even without posting links or images. Imma go read the rules again.

It wasn't me, but my German teacher in high school googled "German body parts" to help us learn the words for arms and legs and shit.

Big mistake.

I once googled child porn to see how long a jail sentence it gave. It was for a thread I made on here, I regretted it instantly. Finally deleted all of my history to remove it from my previous searches.

That may have been my fault sorry. I mentioned "Blue Waffle" in a previous thread and some may have searched it thinking it was harmless. Big mistake.

Wait what's wrong with typing in "German body parts"? The internet is too strange 90% of the time.

Not entirely within the scope of the thread, but still my best example:

I once worked for a company that, like many software companies, is in the habit of updating their services with shinier, more graphically intense interfaces while neglecting to make sure everything still works as well as it did in the previous version. Their corporate webmail server fell victim to this. It was so bad that when I tried sending an email to my supervisors saying my job was complete, I spent more time fighting with the interface to send that email than I spent doing the job in question. Attempting to use the old webmail would just load a page saying "Use the new service for better performance". So, I bookmarked the new service with the title "Better performance MY ASS!".

After a couple weeks, I got in the habit of typing "my ass" in the address bar of my browser to bring up the bookmark. One day I was a little too impatient and hit enter without selecting the bookmark from the drop-down menu, and so I Googled "my ass" on the company's VPN connection. Whoops.

Simply put, "these are not the German body parts you were looking for."

O.T. Yeah, Blue Waffle for me too.

I did the same thing one time when I was like 10 or 11, you know new to the internet and all. It was because I thought no one would be stupid enough to just make links that lead directly to illegal images.

I sat in a corner holding my head in quiet shame and disgust when I realized they were.

When I find something new, especially people, I like to have an image in my head. Therefore, I got in the habit of using images first. Learned a lot of new stuff that way, lots of Japanese words especially.

I once googled Slaughtered Vomit Dolls (it's a movie, and exactly as bad as you'd expect from the title) out of curiosity. The first glimpse of the image page made me go "Yeah. Enough of that then"

I once saw someone use a particular word on a forum. My memory is hazy, but I think it was either "goro" or "guro"

I had no idea what it meant and the context was unclear, so I googled it and clicked the first few links that came up.

Yeah.

My reaction wasn't disgust exactly, they're only drawings after all, but I am definitely not comfortable at the thought of people getting off to that stuff.

You know that this is sort of like a weird mouth to mouth (there has to be a better term for this) hazard right? Anyone who sees this thread will want to Google what everyone else is talking about.

OT: I can't think of anything on the scale that everyone is talking about, but I remember typing shock faces to see what all the fuss was about and frankly it was far scarier than I would have liked to admit. I remember playing the maze game of my own volition too.

Gekko Moriah Rule 34.

Worst thing I have ever done.

"No, surely such sick and depraved things cannot be real" I said.

Alas no, the internet struck me down in my hubris, and @TizzyTheTormentor: has never been the same since.

Not a Google, but clicking on the word offended in Encyclopedia Dramatica, and scrolling down so far. I only made it about half way down and that was bad enough.

Also there is a pub called 'Sally Pussey's'. That must have been named before the internet was invented or it could easy go wrong...

"Rotten.Com"

It's a real site. I was pranked by a friend.. it's not a nice place. Please, don't look it up. And then look it up, and then send me your tears in the mail.

"2 girls 1 cup"

MY EYES

"History of Visual Novels"

MY ENTRE LIFE

Edit: So, I was once on 4-chan (for a short time), and someone had reccomended me an artist as a prank. Turned out his name was "Shintaro Kago". So, I was redirected to a blog, and was shown some very beautiful and disturbed things, and found out that his main genre, outside of hentai, was "eru guro", a Wasei term for "Erotic grotesque". I deleted my search history, scrubbed my eyes, and would be more than consentful to watch bara for days on end to replace the disgustingness with something a little less disgusting.

Ironically, he's also my favourite artist now.
