Mostly stuff seen while playing google seppuku... which is an idea featured in Ghastly's Ghastly webcomic... which I can't link to. It's quite shamelessly pornographic.

The idea goes "download Japanese character input software for your English-based OS, input characters from it at random into google image search, as many times as it takes for you to wish you'd never played the game. More searches equals a higher score."
...of course, this assumes you can't read kana/kanji.

eh. only one thing comes to mind. i forgot the exact search, but i was looking for am image to use for a joke, but when the google image search page was suddenly filled with decapitated heads and limbs littering streets, instant regret.
it pretty quickly killed my good mood. and i didn't feel like making any more jokes that day.

Not really google but my friends find it funny to tag each other in really disgusting pictures and videos on facebook. Facebook is basically the Mos Eisley (sp?) Space port of the internet and my friends are probably some of the most wretched scum and villiany to dwell in the proverbial hive. Ive seen a women have her head cut off, a man cut his own genitals off, a girl eat a used tampon, a woman shit in a mans mouth and a lot more that I couldnt possibly tell you about....oh yeah I almost forgot the japenese lady squeezing a huge octopus out of her lady garden

I'm immune to this stuff. Sometimes I google the disturbing stuff multiple times because of my morbid curiosity.

You know, one sec I'll be looking at gore, on one side, perfectly fine, on the other, disgusted. Then I'll realise "This isn't healthy..." and leave.

I couldn't possibly watch disturbing video footage, though, that's more than a step too far. Kids in the Sandbox had me running from the page with my tail between my legs. Maybe that was my penis...

generally this, most pictures don't do much now a days, sure I might say "eh, that's pretty gross someone is into that." but it won't get me hurrying to close the page out of a mental breakdown.

however, videos, that's a whole other story...especially when it is real life and not anime/cartoon stuff, something that you KNOW isn't being faked, that gets me to go "oh FUCK!" and click off immediately.

2 girls one cup wasn't HORRID, but it was my first video at the time (shit what was that..8-9 years ago? fuck me I'm old.) that was disturbing to that level, so it did get me grossed out a bit.

I remember seeing a video where a dude was getting his dick pierced, and they did it wrong, so they basically infected it and it got all chopped up...DONT EVEN ASK ME WHY THE HELL I WAS WATCHING THAT, I DON'T REMEMBER. I clicked off that so fast and tried to set my brain on fire to forget it

I once had a friend become convinced that he had throat cancer. A bit of a hypocondriac, but I always humor him. To disuade his concern, I searched images of "throat cancer".

Turns out he didn't have throat cancer, but we'll never forget all the throat cancer we saw that day.

I have a friend who I play a drinking game with where you dare each other to look things up on the internet without safe search.
Thanks to that game, I have seen Yoshi hentai, Attack of Titan porn (its a thing, don't do it people) and Starfox porn.
I haven't played that game since then.
Ew...

This isn't particularly bad by itself (and perhaps even helpful information depending on who you are) but looking up the age of consent in my state made me feel like a real dog.
...
It's sixteen where I am, by the way.

Just recently I was trying to find my sister's tumblr page. I got frustrated with looking so I just googled 'my sister's tumblr'.

It came up with a tumblr incest blog.

Yup.

Also looking at the image search for 'canibalism' is pretty disturbing.

Gekko Moriah Rule 34.

Worst thing I have ever done.

"No, surely such sick and depraved things cannot be real" I said.

Alas no, the internet struck me down in my hubris, and @TizzyTheTormentor: has never been the same since.
Damn you, not once, but twice! I have been a broken man now...

OT: I remember a friend telling me that actual Pokemon porn exists, not just the human characters, actual Pokemon, naturally, I said he was full of shit, he then told me to type a Pokemon into the Google image search with the safety filters off, I did and...

...

...

...I regretted it so damn much, my first real introduction to nightmare fuel inducing power of Rule 34...

SHI SHI SHI SHI SHI :D

Enjoy the nightmares I guess.

See a lot of Rule 34 up in here.

Just felt the need to step in here considering the hypochondria thang as I myself am one (only been able to admit that the past year or so. From my experience, the hypochondria usually manifest themselves as things that are either difficult to diagnose / embarrassing / or just too vague an issue to give an name or purpose. In the majority of cases all that is needed is reassurance an understanding: Google searching isn't the best idea as it often makes things worse. I'd say: Ask why he's concerned -> Ask what the symptoms are -> If there is a moderate to proper concern, then tell him to go to the doctor and get it checked. Nothing better than peace of mind, certainly outweighs mild embarrassment. Will also help him rationalize between the issues that need checking and not.

Anyway, sorry for massive tangent: Had a bit of a philanthropic moment.

OT: I'm also pretty good at avoiding such lark, but there's been more than enough Hentai filtering through the net... Tumblr. But I've not got a massive issue with it: not a very sexual person at all and am MASSIVELY put of by over-sexualisation (Game of thrones...), but hentai's just one of them things now. Herpes of the internet.

Oh, and a mate showed me blue waffle. Never unseen. Waffles ruined.

I'm quite aware that Google is not a legitimate way of diagnosing oneself. I wasn't concerned at all, because he thinks he has something new every other week. I used the term "humor him" because I thought it would be good for a laugh, not a substitute for eight years of medical school.

It wasn't, though...

So I heard about this thing called trypophobia, which is a fear of clusters of small holes, especially in the skin. I googled it out of curiosity to see if I have it. Turns out I do!

There are many many reasons why I don't google things people tell me to, or click links I've no idea where they lead. This all stems from my LAN Party days where various LAN friends were a bit overzealous in their porn collections... Some things cannot be unseen, and thanks to them I've developed a very high tolerance to the weird, EXTREMELY weird fetishes people have, sick things people do and fucked up shit you can download from the internet.
That being said I don't actively seek it out either. But I DO every now and again scar minds with things I know to look for... only to pay the universe forward for my own scarring.
Yeah, I do karma both ways.

Well, I sure do wish I hadn?t searched Cake Farts, after hearing a reference to it on an episode of Game Grumps. That may be arousing for some, but not for me.

Also, I?ve had the unfortunate curiosity of searching various cartoon and videogame characters on Rule 34. The amount of badly-drawn Simpsons porn out there is, frankly, astounding.

And I can?t remember how we got there, but one time in IT class, my friends and I were just searching some random shit. One of my friends typed in ?prolapse? or ?prolapsed anus?, I looked?and the rest is history.

I typed the word 'what' into Google. The first suggestion that came up was 'what does the fox say'. I will forever regret clicking on that phrase.
