I was born very ill, and my dad has told me that this song perfectly describes the start of my life. The singer wrote it about his daughter, who was born prematurely.
As for my life in general so far...
It's not about everything being perfect, but about having a good attitude to life. It's also about family, which is important to me, especially right now as I'm moving out to go to uni in a little over a week. Plus the Finn Brothers were the first gig I went to.

Huh can't say I relate to the lyrics on any sort of level but the song just makes me feel right.
I've been through depression and the councillor was about to diagnose me as psychotic. For 2-3 I haven't died even though I've been incredibly close to it day in and day out. I'm not dead and that is the greatest achievement of my life.
I have always been a fan of The Forecast and I finally saw them live after being a fan of their's for about six years. This song has always been a favorite of mine simply because I thought it was catchy, but after hearing it live and what's been going in my life recently. I've found a whole new meaning to the song and I feel it accurately sums it up with the lyrics:

The first one speaks to me because I always feel down but at some point I have to realize that it will eventually get better.
Then the second one, which is the chorus, now speaks to this recent existential crisis I've been going through in my life. I feel I'm in a constant transitional period and it's nice to find lyrics that speak to that.
It's the simplest lyrics that usually mean the most to me.
